The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) will soon revert to Diane Jenkins. Her former moniker was repeatedly spat out of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) mouth in the past. Today, she appears to be attempting to pay the Moustache back.

Seeing Victor and his soul mate, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), always turns Diane’s stomach. She can’t stand their lovey-dovey routine because of all the drama in their lives and subsequent professions of true love.

So, it was unusual that Diane went to their table at the Genoa City Athletic Club and revealed hard personal news. Victor has been saying that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane’s marriage.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) can’t escape chaos. He threw the most profound love of his life, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), away and recently cut his parents out.

But Mealor’s character is reeling more than resolute. He has since repaired matters with Summer, though the one-time married couple has not reconciled. They genuinely support Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) best interests.

Seeing Jack and Diane’s ugly public display at the GCAC shook Kyle. It made him realize the impact of his recent actions and the fallout they produced.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Sees Hope

Jack’s talk with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was intriguing. Would he lie to his brother about breaking from Diane as part of a larger scheme? Possibly.

Assuming Jack and Diane cooked up a plan to pry Kyle back from Victor, all soapy bets are off. They are in mutual deep cover if so and will need to operate independently most of the time while attempting to communicate secretly until their efforts score.

But if Jack is not working with Diane, she has taken a huge risk. Getting Victor is no easy task. But she is one of the few people in GC who can do so based on her history with him, which is why he loathes her.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Circles Above

Diane feels she can leverage Victor’s contempt for Jack and allow Braeden’s character to think he’s using her to do it. Assuming that’s what she’s doing and that she is not out to get Jack and Kyle, Diane is on a time limit.

She assumes Kyle’s reforming bond with Jack will be enough to turn him against Victor. That effect would help slow or possibly sabotage efforts to build Glissade into a competitor that can rival Jabot.

If Kyle’s loyalty to Victor is severed, she might have a better chance of neutralizing or damaging the head of Newman Enterprises. Jack’s realization of Diane’s bravery and love would transform their seeming fallout into a deeper bond than existed before.

Again, that assumes this seemingly happy couple disintegrated in a matter of weeks and isn’t involved in a joint effort to get their son back and punish Victor, their mutual enemy.
