The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Diane Goes On Offense – Phyllis Misreads Developments

The Young and the Restless spoilers document Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) read the soapy tea leaves and knew action had to be taken. So, she went on the offensive.

Telling Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about her connection to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was mostly self-serving. The way she couched the story, which may or may not have been fully revealing, made her look like a targeted victim.

Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is on his way to Genoa City, Wisconsin. He is teased to go after Diane, which could make her an even more sympathetic character.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Is A User

According to Diane and unless she is proven wrong or misleading, Tucker learned that Jeremy used her as a money-laundering mule. St. John’s character exploited that information, manipulating her to provide information about the Abbott family, including Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

Jack was sympathetic to Diane’s tale until she told him, toward the end of it, that she was tasked by Tucker with keeping him up to date on Ashley’s whereabouts. Interestingly, Diane did not deliver for Tucker, as Ashley returned from Paris without knowledge of Walters’ character.

Ashley has already learned Tucker wanted Diane to be an information source about her. That further deepens his untrustworthy status.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Gets It Wrong?

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is feeling optimistic these days. She believes that Diane’s crying session in Jack and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) office at Jabot means the soapy sky is falling.

But Diane has an ally Phyllis can not control. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has embraced his mother, following her Los Angeles, California, reveal as alive and subsequent apology to him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Kyle has influence on his dad’s outlook. If Kyle feels his mother has been wronged by Tucker, as teasers indicate he should, then Jack could remain neutral toward Diane to a degree. If so, Phyllis’ plan to block Diane from Jack is greatly lessened, if not defeated.

Diane’s goal was to rebuild her relationship with Kyle. That was accomplished, with the Jeremy and Tucker angles still to play out.

But Diane’s other goal was to romantically reconnect with Jack. If Phyllis remains on the outs and Diane appears to be the poor soul, Jeremy and Tucker took advantage of, Jack may come to the rescue.

Jack and Diane is also a realistic coupling option because the audience has seen him thinking about their romantic past on multiple occasions on Y&R.
