Y&R spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had a mystery to solve when he kept getting cryptic text messages. With Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) help, Jack learned that Keemo Abbott (formerly played by Philip Moon) died.

Then, Jack kept being lured to Los Angeles, where he met Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). Eventually, Jack faced the person sending him all those text messages, which was Diane.

Diane explained that she faked her death with the help of Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Diane said she planned to disappear with Kyle. However, she had the epiphany that she was toxic and decided Kyle was better off staying with his father.

Pleading with Kyle Abbott

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Diane wants forgiveness. Diane also wants a relationship with Kyle, who is now married to Phyllis’ daughter, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier). Kyle also has a child of his own, Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Kyle is completely blown away by the bombshell and doesn’t know what to do about his mother. In fact, Kyle is highly suspicious and thinks Diane is only giving excuses rather than real answers.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Susan Walters’ Burning Comment

Speaking in a video interview with Michael Fairman TV, Walters admitted she doesn’t know what’s really going on in Diane’s head. The actress does think Diane is truly sorry for abandoning Kyle, though. With that being said, what if Diane is just playing Kyle? Answering this, Walters said if that is the case, then Diane should be burned.

“After I did the scene with Michael that day, I stood in the corner and cried. And I thought, ‘There is no way… if this woman is just full of crap, she should be burned. You know what I mean? There’s no coming back from that. So, I’m not saying I don’t think Diane has some aspects of her personality from 10, 20 years ago, or whatever. But I do think that she’s sincerely sorry for what she did.”
