After Ashley’s engagement announcement, Jack could strike back by making a shocking promotion. Could Jack promote Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to COO of Jabot? If so, expect Ashley to strike back. Y&R spoilers reveal that everyone was shocked by Jack and ’s engagement announcement. At the same time, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) put their death scheme in motion.

More recently, Ashley moved Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) into the Abbott manse. Then, Ashley stunned Jack by announcing she and Tucker were engaged.

Afterward, Jack and Ashley hurled warnings as well as threats at each other. Then, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tried to share Ashley’s perspective with Jack.

Meanwhile, Diane is still working at Jabot and living in the Abbott manse. Diane does still have to wear an ankle monitoring bracelet. However, it is teased that the proof of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) being alive surfaces during the week of May 29.

So, Diane will be cleared of murder charges. At that time, Jack and Diane will probably think their lives will return to normal. That might not happen as Ashley will be furious over Diane’s victory.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Billy told Jack that Ashley’s coup is out of concern and love. Even though Diane was cleared of murder charges, Ashley is determined to get Jack out of Jabot. At least, Ashley wants Jack out as long as he is with Diane. If Jack and Diane broke up, then Ashley would probably let this takeover scheme go.

So, Jack could try to protect himself by assigning someone he trusts as COO. This person might be Diane.

If Diane is promoted to COO of Jabot, Ashley could become even more concerned about Jack’s mental state. Ashley will strike back and could use Tucker to send a strong message. However, this feud is just getting heated up, so stay tuned!
