The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) realized that she can not hide. So, she will try and beat Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) by dealing with him directly.

Going to the Jabot cabin was an acceptable short-term plan. Diane agreed to Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) compromise plan to avoid breaking contact her loved ones.

But the update Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) received from Jack caused Diane to refresh her perspective. She is not going to hide any longer.

Diane was posing at Taylor Jensen when she was living in Los Angeles, California. And living is the key word in the last sentence because the loved ones referenced earlier in this feature assumed she was dead.

And why would Jack, Kyle and everyone else in Genoa City, Wisconsin, believe that Diane was not dead. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) presumably killed her in self-defense. But Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) confirmed the he had helped Diane fake her death by obtaining a corpse.

With the murder hoax completed, Diane assumed a new persona. Taylor met Jeremy, assumed he liked her, and their relationship ensued. But he was using Diane, knowing her true identity and using that against her as part of his money laundering scheme.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Made A Big Mistake

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is an arguable poor soul in this storyline. She recognized that Diane would revamp the Abbott family’s world in LA and formulated her defense plan.

Jack was in sync with Phyllis at first. Slowly but surely, as Phyllis feared, Diane’s damsel act wore him down.

Phyllis is alienated from him and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier). But she provoked anger by telling Jeremy that Diane turned him into the authorities and provided him with her location in GC.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Showdown With The Criminal

Jeremy is a hardened, unrepentant criminal. He accepted Jack’s payoff, with Bergman’s character and the audience doubting the day after Christmas money drop would end the drama.

Diane hopes to meet Jeremy face-to-face and engineer a resolution. She is cunning, and has to know he will not be persuaded to go away. So, possibly a legal setup is coming?

Through all the above, Diane has endeared herself to Kyle and earned Jack’s respect. That means she has already achieved her goals. So, a romantic reunion with Jack is also gaining momentum on Y&R.
