The Grand Phoenix hotel has a brief history, having been open for a handful of years. The stretch of this venue’s existence has been as colorful as its last owner, Phyllis.
It is fitting that Jeremy would be occupying a suite at the GP. It was also good that Jack and Kyle put on their joint performance in attempting to work a deal with Diane’s enemy.
But facing off against a criminal with a grudge is not something the Abbott men should be doing. They should have involved Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), as that could have allowed fans to see the longtime cast stalwart. The Chief Of Police could have assigned Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to this matter.

Jack was married to Phyllis twice. While he and Diane had Kyle, they were never married.
The trajectory of the developing storyline feels like Jack is being positioned to pair with Diane. Whether an assumed romantic restart would lead to marriage is questionable.
Phyllis is trying to save the Abbott family. But she should focus on her family, as the strained relationship with Summer Abbott Newman (Allison Lanier) is not Diane’s fault. And a reunion with Jack seems like a long shot on Y&R.
