The Young and the Restless spoilers show that we will have a new face joining us in Genoa City. The news was just announced that CBS’s The Talk co-host Natalie Morales would be joining the show in a recurring role as a reporter named Talia Morgan!

You may ask yourself what a reporter would be doing in Genoa City and what exactly they’re investigating. Well, as it turns out, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) may be in some hot water after her Houdini trick decades ago of faking her death and abandoning her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Since her return to Genoa City, she’s been playing nice, trying to make it up to her son and even Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who she betrayed all those years ago. While it’s taken time, Kyle has started accepting her and even offered her a job at Marchetti! However, there is something else brewing under the veil of her secrecy, and Talia may have some big news to expose!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Will Talia Morgan Expose About Diane Jenkins?

There’s absolutely no doubt that Diane has been hiding something, and of course, the only person who has been able to pick up on it is Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She’s been on to her since the beginning, and while everyone is backing Diane, Phyllis remains steadfast in her convictions. I think this will lead to an interesting dynamic between Phyllis and newcomer Talia. Together, they will form the world’s greatest detective team that could find Carmen Sandiego in a coal mine.

I think we all know where we are going with this and it leads back to Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). From the beginning of her story arc, there have been viewers who have sworn up and down that she was a plant paid by Diane to coerce Jack to let her in. In all reality, Allie isn’t even Jack’s granddaughter and the entire thing has been a ploy for Diane to sink into the Abbotts and gain their wealth. While she appears to have genuinely formed a bond with her estranged son, it may just be so she can get what she wants.

Diane’s secrets and (possible) connections to Allie may be about to be revealed, and it will be Talia that brings it to the forefront with the help of Phyllis. Wait until we have to hear the “I told you so’ from Phyllis! That will be a hoot!
