The Young and the Restless spoilers show that we will have a new face joining us in Genoa City. The news was just announced that CBS’s The Talk co-host Natalie Morales would be joining the show in a recurring role as a reporter named Talia Morgan!
You may ask yourself what a reporter would be doing in Genoa City and what exactly they’re investigating. Well, as it turns out, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) may be in some hot water after her Houdini trick decades ago of faking her death and abandoning her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Since her return to Genoa City, she’s been playing nice, trying to make it up to her son and even Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who she betrayed all those years ago. While it’s taken time, Kyle has started accepting her and even offered her a job at Marchetti! However, there is something else brewing under the veil of her secrecy, and Talia may have some big news to expose!

There’s absolutely no doubt that Diane has been hiding something, and of course, the only person who has been able to pick up on it is Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She’s been on to her since the beginning, and while everyone is backing Diane, Phyllis remains steadfast in her convictions. I think this will lead to an interesting dynamic between Phyllis and newcomer Talia. Together, they will form the world’s greatest detective team that could find Carmen Sandiego in a coal mine.
Y&R Spoilers – The Big Reveal!
I think we all know where we are going with this and it leads back to Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). From the beginning of her story arc, there have been viewers who have sworn up and down that she was a plant paid by Diane to coerce Jack to let her in. In all reality, Allie isn’t even Jack’s granddaughter and the entire thing has been a ploy for Diane to sink into the Abbotts and gain their wealth. While she appears to have genuinely formed a bond with her estranged son, it may just be so she can get what she wants.

Diane’s secrets and (possible) connections to Allie may be about to be revealed, and it will be Talia that brings it to the forefront with the help of Phyllis. Wait until we have to hear the “I told you so’ from Phyllis! That will be a hoot!

That not right. That would be to cruel. I was hoping Daine had changed. Because none of those women are angels. Phylis is one I like to see get beat. I don’t like it for Ally and Jack either

I Hope they don’t make Allie out to be a fraud! I Really like her & especially with Noah…I do want Diane to be found out, though! Let Phyillis “Red” have a Life with Jack!! But get her a new dress style! She’s Beautiful, but, too thin for the dresses she wears….everyday!
Let Allie be the real deal but, send Diane back to where she came from! She has never been up to anything good!
So people are brought back from the dead to continue to be evil and do damage I always had a feeling Diane and alley were both in on the plot together jack always gets the raw bad deal with everyone they said originally that Keemo was alive then they bring alley hopefully the get caught soon and the storyline doesn’t drag
How can Diane and Ally be working together because when they first met they act like they didn’t know each other at Kimo‘s house
Don’t let Allie be a pawn for Diane!! I love her with Noah. Let her be the granddaughter of Jack’s. Jack doesn’t need to be hurt by a lie. However Diane has to go!!!
I hope not. Susan Walters is such a lovely addition to the cast and I love Diane.
I can not stand Diane and her smirk or sneer when no one is looking.
I like the actress playing Diane and I think she does a great job, because Diane is a horrible character. What I don’t like is the unbelievable story that all these people can’t see through her. Diane is doing a great job to get viewers heckles up but I find Jack and Summer completely stupid and unrealistic in their attitude.
why does Diane only have 3 outfits in two colors navy and black?
I’m hoping Allie is not the real deal. The actions from the beginning don’t add up. Jack has been so trusting, not even a dna test, and he’s been a Dick to Phyllis. Jack has always been my fav actor since his days on my “other” soap but he needs a knocking down for being ignorant, then I’ll back him again. Diane is a mess, was before this shouldn’t surprise us., she is a wonderful actor though. Oh, and shut up Victor, you’ve sucked for over 40 yrs
I hope Allie is not a plant! That would hurt a whole lot of people who welcomed her with open hearts! Although, it never showed pictures of Kimo & Allie that I can remember! That would be SOOO Wrong! To give Jack a Granddaughter that is not his! That’s worse than faking her death!
I hope Allie is for real! Hurry up and get rid of Diane Jenkins!!!!!!
