During the week of May 23, Phyllis will come up with a plan to get rid of Diane for good. Phyllis has been trying to get Diane to leave Genoa City since she snuck into the Grand Phoenix. Diane did come close to leaving at one point but soon changed her mind. Now she seems more determined than ever to stay in town and accomplish her goals.

This is infuriating Phyllis as well as causing some serious concern. After all, Phyllis knows all too well what Diane is capable of. Phyllis is not going to allow Diane to get her hooks into Kyle or Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that next week, Phyllis will recruit Summer. It sounds like Phyllis knows what she should do and thinks it might work. However, she can’t do it alone. Knowing that Summer doesn’t trust Diane and wants to protect Kyle, Phyllis will get her to participate in the plan.

Even though Phyllis and Summer might have a solid plan, they need to remember who they are dealing with. Diane is already expecting certain reactions and behaviors from Phyllis. Diane also gave a veiled warning to Summer about how difficult it is to keep relationships intact. Even though it wasn’t a direct threat, the subtle undertones could not be missed.

Diane knows she must be on her best behavior. So, Diane will do her best scheming and manipulating. Diane might already predict Phyllis and Summer’s next move. Diane will be sure to appear innocent in Jack and Kyle’s eyes.

Although the Abbott men don’t trust Diane right now, if Phyllis and Summer strike too hard, the tables could be turned. Instead of Jack and Kyle being grateful, they could accuse Phyllis and Summer of going too far.
