The tears Diane shed and the smiles she offered were genuine, and Jack was touched.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott’s Family Is Bonding

Ashland’s death impacts Kyle’s family because of the bond Harrison maintained with the man he called father. The character Newman played was the only man Harrison knew as his father when they were living in New York with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).

Tara’s legal problems, which led to her being jailed, created an initially workable scenario where Kyle and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier), who embraced her role as Harrison’s stepmother, were open to Ashland’s continued connection.

Kyle and Summer’s move to Italy meant Harrison had to leave Genoa City, Wisconsin. Ashland was okay with the move as he was pushing the cancer ruse. Kyle and Summer were part of the group, that was headed by Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who were in the dark about Ashland’s lie.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Not Involved

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) instinctively sensed that Diane’s reappearance spelled trouble for Jack. But Stafford’s character also believed that Diane’s comeback would be bad for her, and it has proven to be.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) formed a pact with Phyllis. Their aim is to force Diane out of GC.

The ambitious goal is challenging because of Kyle and now, Jack’s feelings. They believe Diane deserves the benefit of the doubt and are clearly opening up to her. Meanwhile, Phyllis was pushed out of Jack’s personal life.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Makes Honest Progress

One of the main problems Phyllis has involves Diane’s revised approach. Walters’ character is trying something new this time around, she is being honest.

While Diane has retained some of her classic personality traits, any fair observer must say that she is trying her best to be a good mother to Kyle and grandmother to Harrison. Jack provided solid kudos for how she handled the Chancellor Park incident with Ashland, which surprised Diane.

Phyllis can not be counted out, as Jack still loves her. But time and soapy circumstances provide apparent momentum for a Jack-Diane romance on Y&R.
