The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease disturbing news comes to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). His contacts and security team have been keeping him appraised of the status of the prison where Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) was being held, and they confirm she’s on the loose!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Prison Caught Fire

The prison caught fire and there were many inmates killed, some unaccounted for, and some escaped, but at first couldn’t tell if Jordan was one of them.

The investigators have now determined that Jordan is loose-and the arson investigators think she set the fire as a distraction for her escape plans.

Of course, this makes her even more dangerous, because if someone commits arson in a prison there are many obstacles to escape, and risking her own life is uncharacteristic of Jordan.

This means nothing is stopping Jordan including fire and falling objects, and she doesn’t care about the risk to even her own life. In other words, she’s acting like someone so desperate she has nothing left to lose!

One very worrisome thing is whether Jordan’s agenda is still revenge against the Newmans for the death of her sister, or for them stealing her great-niece!

One thing Victor must take into account is when she lured Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to the lake house in Oregon, family ties didn’t matter.

Jordan obviously considered Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) a turncoat because he got the same poison and treatment everyone else did, Jordan knocking him out cold with a blunt object.

That means Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will not be safe from her either, because she has turned her back on her and started bonding to her Newman relatives.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Worries

Cole and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) know about the fire at the prison and Victoria was worried for Claire right away, although Cole avoided telling Claire of the threat.

They felt it would interrupt her healing progress and frighten her all over again, and they would be right. But Victor has been working with Memorial Hospital to make sure they have added security and especially in the psych ward where Claire is.

This also means police guards and quite possibly undercover FBI agents at the hospital, because Jordan is now a cross country fugitive.

Victor vows that Jordan woman will not get away with disguising herself as a nurse or other hospital personnel even though that’s been her method in the past.
