Young & The Restless News – Paul Williams Returns For An Investigation

On Tuesday, November 12, Paul will return to Y&R to investigate a crime. All the storyline point to Paul coming to talk to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about helping Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) fake his own death. Nate is terrified that Victor will find a way to escape justice and pin the whole scheme on him. If that happens, Nate will lose his medical license, and will probably serve some jail time.

The Y&R fans are very protective of Paul after he was written off the show for no reason. They wrote to the show, and Davidson’s co-stars went to Sony to petition to bring the iconic character back on the show.

A fan asked Doug when they’d see Paul next on the show and he replied, ”12th of November and the 17th and 18th of December, I think. Beyond that, I don’t know.”

Y&R News – Will Paul Williams Ever Score A Contract?

For many fans that was good news, while a few voiced their disappointment that he won’t be on more often. Doug replied that he isn’t sure if he would ever sign a contract again, as TPTB aren’t invested in his character as much as they are some of the other characters.

Doug Davidson isn’t sure if the show will ever be ready to give him a contract. He would love to be on the show more regularly, but with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) on the show, his presence isn’t as needed on the show.
