The Young and the Restless spoilers say that just because they are gone, that doesn’t mean they are gone forever, right?
In fact, there’s speculation suggesting that former fan favorite Dru Winters might make her way back to this fictional town of Genoa City sooner rather than later. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Is Dru Coming Back?
After all, no one ever found her body and if there is someone that could use Dru in their life right now, it would be Lily, right?
While no one knows if actress Victoria Rowell would be willing to reprise her role and come back to The Young and the Restless this year, fans certainly did have a lot to say abou the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Victoria R has mentioned wanting to come back many times after suing Y&R. She did go on a wild Twitter rant once where she talked crap about multiple members of the Y&R cast.”
“I found an old thread of them once and it was wildly entertaining but surprising that she did it. I believe she has since deleted those tweets.”
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Is Victoria Rowell Willing To Come Back To The Soap?
Another fan of the show wrote, “They need to bring Drucilla back but it would have to be a recast. I don’t think VR would ever be welcomed back to the show nor would would she even want to return. I think enough time has past that a good recast would work.”
And then there was this comment as well: “The Winters need someone to lead their family and give the family some strong foundation. Lily, Devon and Nate can’t do that. They aren’t lead material, they just aren’t.”
Now, whether or not Dru does come back, remains to be seen but the critics have certainly spoken. Here’s hoping that it happens!

I would like to see Victoria Rowell back as Dru. No one can play the part like her. Time to move on and leave the past in the past.
No Dru please! Y&R needs to move forward with new plots and stories rather than going into the past. It’d getting boring.
“Drucilla” has been “dead” for going on 20 years now… I bet many viewers will not remember her. That being the case, a recast would not be difficult. Personally, I would like to see Victoria Rowell return to the role. I always liked the way she portrayed the character. I can see, however, it could be difficult given the history between CBS and Ms. Rowell. It’s a Soap afterall… anything can happen!
Let Dru stay gone! We need new stories instead of people coming back from the “dead”! She has been long gone and forgotten!!
