Y&R spoilers reveal that Hollywood Life published an interview with Davidson on August 10, 2020. She made it clear that she wasn’t interested in coming back full-time. The interview was regarding the reality TV show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, Daytime Confidentiality noted in their August 15 interview that Davidson liked the way things are right now.
“I’m so happy with how things are right now.”

On August 25, a soap columnist named Lynda Hirsch made a claim that Davidson was coming back to the CBS soap opera full-time. This quickly went viral as Davidson is a soap veteran and fan-favorite. However, Davidson went to Twitter to state the truth.

The Young and the Restless star said on Twitter that she has no idea who Lynda is and did not talk with her. She also made it clear once again that she was not coming back full-time.
“Happy Sunday everybody! I have no idea who Lynda Hirsch is I have certainly not spoken with her. I am happy to be coming back to Y and R to do a few shows but I am not coming back full-time!”

Now that the rumor is cleared up and there is no more confusion, what is Ashley’s story on the soap? Daytime Confidentiality reported that the Abbott children have a great story coming up. They will be searching for clues to unlock another mystery before their mother passes away. When Davidson was asked about this by the publication, she teased,
“Dina’s past never ceases to put us on guard. We’re always trepidatious about what we might find!”
