However, on Wednesday, November 30, Nate asked Elena to come on a business trip with her to have a romantic getaway. As a bonus, he asked her to move her podcast to Newman Media. That way, the couple would work together again.

She’s still upset about Chancellor Winters’s betrayal, as she’s been ousted from the Winters family because she’s his girlfriend.

There has been social media chatter about Elena leaving Genoa City and breaking up with Nate. While that could still happen at some point, it doesn’t look like it will happen right now.
With Christmas just a few weeks away, the Y&R writers are showing us that Elena and Nate will have a happy holiday together. Many soap fans don’t see Elena sticking with Nate long-term.
There’s a slim possibility that Elena could rekindle a romance with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). That seems unlikely, considering Devon is still hurting over her cheating with Nate when they were together. But anything can happen in a soap opera. Besides, Devon could sleep with Elena just to get back at Nate for Chancellor Winters’ betrayal.

This is nothing that excites me or makes me sad. She isn’t a very exciting person in the soaps. She’s really a goody two shoes but that makes her kind of dull. As for Devon, I don’t like him anymore. He’s got that attitude that rich people get and sometimes it makes him not very nice.
