The Young And The Restless: Elizabeth Leiner The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Elizabeth Leiner, who played the scheming Tara Locke on recent episodes of The Young and The Restless, has left the show as Tara was hauled off to jail on August 6.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tara Locke Came To Genoa City Looking To Become An Abbott

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Tara came to Genoa City looking to become an Abbott, once her affair with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was exposed and her son Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) was revealed by paternity tests to indeed be Kyle’s son. Viewers of The Young and The Restless will also recall that Kyle’s affair with Tara was exposed the last time Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) had come back to Genoa City, catching up with old friend Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who became Tara’s partner in crime. Tara and Kyle had their affair when Theo and Kyle had been living the party animal life back in New York City, a fact that Kyle later was not proud of. It was also Theo who revealed Tara had a little boy the right age who he thought looked just like Kyle!

Y&R Spoilers – Tara Locke’s Schemes Became Worse And Worse

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Tara’s schemes became worse and worse as time went on. She quickly ingratiated herself with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), using her angelic looking toddler as a weapon to drive her rival, Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of the country in the end. She and Sally teamed up so that Sally could get Summer’s job, which she had wanted in the first place, at Jabot Collective while Tara herself got a plum job with an unsuspecting Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) by promoting her designer shoe line to her to go with Fenmore fashions. However, as viewers of The Young and The Restless know, it was nothing but a lie as she had been embezzling from her own company and therefore committing fraud. Lauren was quick to have her arrested and hauled off after Phyllis Summers, (Michelle Stafford) along with her ex-husband and boyfriend Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) exposed her for blackmailing Summer into taking a job in Milan, Italy which Sally was an integral part of obtaining for Summer.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elizabeth Leiner’s Other Works

Viewers of The Young and The Restless may have recognized Elizabeth Leiner for her other dramatic work on both TV and feature films, most notably Hamlet & Hutch (2017) starring opposite Burt Reynolds, and Lifetime’s Suburban Swingers Club (2019). Elizabeth also possesses a Master’s Degree in both Social Work and Literature, which likely comes in handy for her and brings a unique perspective to every character she embodies on screen. There is no word from the powers that be at The Young and The Restless as to if there are any plans for future appearances as Tara Locke, but it sounds like the scheming character will be behind bars for quite some time! With Kyle and Summer having decided to stay in Milan Italy in recent episodes and bring little Harrison to come live with them, it is doubtful that Tara will be seen anytime in the near future. We wish Elizabeth the best of luck in her future endeavors.
