The Young and the Restless Spoilers for Thursday, December 20: Victoria Kisses Billy, Lola And Kyle Heat Up

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Sharon (Sharon Case) bringing over dinner to Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle); feeling they are all in this together, both feeling that them and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) need to live by the simple rule of never being alone if they can help it.

Fen (Zach Tinker) serves Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), revealing he has to leave early but doesn’t divulge any other details in hopes of not jinxing it. Tessa reveals that she doesn’t have any extra cash, and when Sharon calls, Mariah chooses to ignore the call, saying it isn’t as important as the two of them.

Devon (Bryton James) feels he is on a roll but Ana (Loren Lott) pushes him out the door for a meeting; as soon as he leaves she calls Fen, telling him to get over there right now. Kyle (Michael Mealor) finds Lola (Sasha Calle) at Crimson, offering her a flower on a plate, saying its an invitation to celebrate her. He says it is a night of him doting on her, and to dress appropriately, as it is hot and humid in the tropics. She agrees to see him at 7 at the Abbott mansion.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Leans On Billy

Billy (Jason Thompson) is at Victoria’s place; she reveals Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) isn’t getting any better. He removes his jacket, saying he isn’t going to dessert her and she quickly hugs him, grateful for him. Mariah tells Tessa she will have her finances covered; but Tessa hates leaning on her and getting between her and Sharon.

Mariah knows Tessa has made mistakes, but the way they treated Tessa was horrible; Sharon forced her to make a choice and she chose Tessa, so if she is going after Tessa, Sharon will also be going after Mariah too. Sharon calls again, asking for Mariah to come over and hear her out; but Mariah hangs up after saying she isn’t going to break up with Tessa. Tessa feels Sharon is her mother, and she is reaching out and Mariah needs to reach back.

Fen rushes in, hoping skipping out on the first week of his job is worth this. Ana says they only have one shot at this. He wants to sing his own song, but she says he needs to get familiar with this as professionals do. Ana doesn’t have time to massage his ego and tells him his music isn’t that good. She likes his voice, but not the material. She tells him she is his producer and found him this song, so he can either take it, or leave it.

Kyle rearranges everything in the living room, desperate for everything to be right, but the lighting isn’t there yet. Lola is busy getting ready when Kyle calls her; she pretends that she forgot as he asks her to come an hour later. He admits he is dying to see her. Meanwhile, Mariah doesn’t want to see Sharon as Tessa reminds her that she needs to see the bigger picture and might have to eventually be okay with her mom not being okay with them being a couple. She pleads with her to go see her mother to see what she has to say.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Fen Works With Ana

Fen is nervous as Ana feels this is a big opportunity and they can pull it off. She encourages him, saying she knows this is the right song choice. He is worried it isn’t right for him, but she promises him to try it as it will fit his voice. She apologizes about sounding harsh and maybe later they can use his stuff, but not tonight; she reveals the writer is a guy back East. Just before he goes into the booth, he tells her that her bedside manner with the artist could use a “touch.”

Billy brings Victoria to the couch, as she wishes her father, Victor (Eric Braeden) was there; Billy sarcastically agrees. They talk about Johnny not wanting to sing the song for the Christmas pageant, Victoria feels with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) back and her mom’s accident that this might be his way of acting out. She worries how this is affecting everyone, and rushes into the kitchen to get dinner.

Sharon hears a loud noise outside, scared when she sees lights. She gets out a large flashlight and opens the door, about to hit Mariah; both screaming at the same time. Mariah says the sound was her dropping her bag on the way in, bringing popcorn and wine as it sounding like Sharon needed company and she came prepared. Mariah tells her it was “Evil Tessa” who suggested her being with Sharon, as she didn’t feel safe being alone. Sharon says the thought that JT’s body removal, the stable fire and now Nikki’s accident could all be connected.

Billy practices singing with Johnny, but he refuses to sing at all. Billy talks about when he was a child and when he had to do the pageant and how nervous he was about remembering the words. Victoria watches as Billy explains to Johnny about having fun with the song, remembering it like a Christmas miracle. He does it and Billy hugs him, saying how proud he is of him.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lola Ditches Kyle

Tessa sits with Kyle, who is frustrated that Lola didn’t show up. He calls her, but she has literally fallen asleep in her bed, waiting for the time to come in her beautiful dress and a flower behind her ear. Tessa encourages him to go visit her, and make something happen if he truly feels the same way about her like she does about Mariah. He tells her to grab her guitar and they go.

Ana tells Fen to try singing with more emotion; both laugh when he finishes. He tells Ana she was right and sorry he doubted her. She says her goal is to produce a hit song, but as soon as she suggests they have time for one more take, Devon walks in demanding to know what is going on.

Lola wakes up to Tessa singing “Joy to the World” outside her window. Lola is sorry she missed their date, she says her boyfriend is crazy as he asks her to buzz him in as he is cold. Ana admits to Devon that she took advantage of his dinner meeting to use the studio. He reprimands Ana for not listening to him and doesn’t like to add her to the list of people who have let her down. He wants to talk to her about this in the morning. She wants a minute from Devon, who says she cannot use the studio as her own personal playground and orders them to leave. She says she will put presses play anyways; silencing Devon who actually listens.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mariah And Sharon Disagree

Mariah joins Sharon with popcorn, but Sharon doesn’t feel it is fair of her to set aside her feelings to be with her. Sharon grabs the remote, appreciating the truce but Sharon says time will not change how she has seen Tessa at her core and she can’t pretend otherwise. She isn’t going to accept Mariah’s support without making it clear that things won’t change when it comes to Tessa. Lola tries to warm up Kyle, and she finally admits he has impressed her and they kiss on her bed.

Mariah offers to stay for safety reasons but Sharon says she will be fine. Mariah reminds her of how many battles she had with Nikki over her relationship with Nick (Joshua Morrow); and now Sharon IS Nikki! Sharon doesn’t want this as she tried to give Tessa the benefit of the doubt but when she saw how much she hurt Mariah, its not going to change. Mariah wants Sharon to be happy for her as she isn’t going to sacrifice either one of them and if Sharon can’t accept her can she at least promise to stop hurting Tessa. If she doesn’t want to lose Mariah, she needs to listen and stop.

Devon listens to the entire track for the third time, saying Fen really has something. Fen admits that Ana found this song and if there are a few more like that, Devon believes Fen could really take off. Fen begs him to help him as he will do whatever it will take; Devon wants to sign him as he likes his attitude but right now he wants to dive back into the song. Fen is told to get back in the both, while Devon sends Ana to the office to get the contract. Devon says the next few recording sessions will need a more experienced hand, but he would love her to sit by him but she needs to listen to him and be okay when he tells her to do something else. Fen isn’t happy with it, but Ana goes.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle And Lola Heat Up

Kyle and Lola continue to kiss in her bed, but he stops asking if they are going too fast. She says sorry, but he says there is nothing to say sorry for. He is sweet to her, reassuring her that things are okay, holding her as he only wants to be close to her.

Victoria and Billy share a drink. She kisses him, giving her one less thing to worry about tonight. She frets over Nikki as Billy holds her, saying things will be okay and in case they are not, he will be there for her and they will get through it together. He kisses her forehead.
