Of course, Ashland will probably already have a cover story. Fans saw that someone from the Peru clinic is keeping Ashland updated on Michael poking around. The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday reveal that Elena and Nate will have a conversation about their future. The two are madly in love and just moved in together. However, Nate is questioning his current position at the hospital.

Although Nate does like what he does, he misses performing surgery. Most of all, Nate isn’t thrilled about all the administrative tasks. Nate might even consider taking Ashland up on his offer to work on a new challenge at Newman Media.

Of course, it’s also possible that Nate and Elena’s conversation might be about their personal future together. Could wedding bells be ringing for these two?
