The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, February 28, 2025, are here! In tomorrow’s episode, fans can expect Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to have cleverly and secretly dropped a clue to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Speaking of Summer, she will deceive Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Despite Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) hearing Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) voice, his gut instincts tell him something is very wrong.
Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the next episode of the CBS soap opera. (Make sure to check out our next week Y&R spoilers, here!)
Sharon Newman’s Phone Call
Fans watched as the episode on Thursday showed the mysterious captor allowed Sharon and Phyllis to make one phone call each. The captor suggested they say they are out of town.
The mystery man also warned no tricks or there would be a price to pay. Sharon got on the phone first and talked to Nick.
While Nick seemed to believe Sharon’s story about Sedona and having to get a burner phone, his gut was screaming something wasn’t right.

Phyllis Summers’ Secret Clue
When Phyllis got on the phone, she begged Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) not to tell Billy, she was out of town chasing some leads.
The big clue that Phyllis left was saying the same thing as Sharon – that she got a burner phone and she was out of town.
The phone calls were literally minutes apart. The fact that Phyllis used the same burner phone excuse as Sharon could raise some red flags.
Nick Newman’s Instincts
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, February 28 reveal that Nick might meet up with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Graziadei), or even Summer again.
Nick might tell them that Sharon seems okay, he got a phone call. However, when Nick mentions the burner phone, Summer might say that Phyllis said the exact same thing.
Although there are no leads and the phone call was supposed to eliminate worry, Nick’s gut is telling him differently. Honestly, I’m starting to think that Nick should be the cop in this soap!

Phyllis specifically told Summer not to tell Billy what she was doing. However, when Billy comes to town, he might be curious why he hasn’t heard from Phyllis.
After all, Phyllis was the one who kept calling Billy a million times in Paris. To go from that to total silence will raise red flags for Billy.
Fans might also see Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) have a chat with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). Audra might warn Holden that she told Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that they have a past.
However, Audra might admit that she left out one little part. Even though Holden doesn’t want to cause Audra any problems, this situation is about to get a lot messier, so stay tuned.
