The Young And The Restless Spoilers Friday, January 22: Summer Gets Dirt On Sally – Chelsea’s Frustration Grows – Gloria’s Back In Genoa City

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 22, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will meet in Los Angeles. Flo will have a big warning for Summer about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), and Summer will learn all about how Sally tried to hold onto Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) by faking a fatal illness.

Flo will tell Summer about how she figured out Sally’s (Courtney Hope) scheme, and then Sally kidnapped her and tied her to a radiator while she tried to seduce Wyatt and get pregnant. Summer (Hunter King) will thank Flo for all her help, and the two women will take a selfie, which Summer will post on social media. After Flo (Katrina Bowden) goes, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will meet up with Summer, and they’ll go off to celebrate.

Next on Y&R, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will talk with Dr. Lena Cavett (Dana Sparks) at his penthouse. Dr. Cavett will indicate that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) isn’t making good progress in her physical therapy. A short time later, Adam will bring Chelsea into the living room as Adam tells Dr. Cavett that a “friend” brought books over last night, right before Chelsea made an utterance.

On the inside, Chelsea will yell that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is no friend. Once Dr. Cavett leaves, Adam will reassure Chelsea and tell her that they’re going to get through this together. Chelsea will tell herself that Adam can’t seem to let Sharon go, and she’ll get paranoid, thinking that Sharon is writing Adam notes in the margins of the books.

Meanwhile, over at Sharon and Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) place, Sharon will get flowers from Adam, which Rey won’t appreciate. Then Rey will learn that Sharon went to see Adam with some books last night. Sharon will share that Chelsea wasn’t happy about her visit, and that she won’t be dropping by again.

Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Wows Lauren Baldwin With Her Pitch

Next on Y&R, over at Society, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be chatting when Sally shows up to see Lauren. Lauren will take a call, and Sally will tell Jack that she’s about to make a pitch to Lauren about marketing for Fenmore’s. Sally will run her pitch by Jack first, and he’ll love it.

Lauren will like the pitch, too, and Sally will be in seventh heaven, until her phone dings and she sees the selfie of Summer and Flo. Jack will notice that something’s wrong, but Sally will say that it’s nothing. Jack will encourage Sally happily, saying that she should enjoy her victory and that she’s a star.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Gloria Abbott’s Back In Genoa City

Meanwhile, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will talk briefly at Crimson Lights when Kevin gets a text from his mom Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman). Gloria will be upset with Kevin for destroying the flash drive, and she’ll reveal that it was her boss who was planning on blackmailing the Newman family.

Gloria will indicate that she wanted to help the Newmans out and tell them about what her boss was planning to do, hoping that perhaps the family would reward her in some way. Kevin will look like he doesn’t really believe his mom, and then Gloria will say that she needs a place to live and that she’s moving in with Kevin and Chloe.

Y&R Spoilers – Dr. Lena Cavett Has Disturbing News About Chelsea Lawson

Next on Y&R, Adam will meet with Dr. Cavett at Crimson Lights. Dr. Cavett will think that Chelsea’s lack of progress could be partly psychological in nature. Dr. Cavett will suggest a psychological consultation, which Adam won’t really like.

Over at the penthouse, Chloe will stop by to see Chelsea, and Chelsea will start crying as Chloe shares a card that her daughter made for her. Chelsea will be upset that she can’t communicate with Chloe, and she’ll be frustrated about the situation with Sharon and Adam. Later, Adam will come home, and he’ll send Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) a message asking that they talk ASAP.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Worries about Summer Newman’s New Alliance

Finally, on Friday’s new episode of Y&R, Gloria and Kevin will arrive at Society and see Jack with Sally. Gloria will bellow a big hello to Jack, clearly jealous of Sally. Sally will again thank Jack for all his support and encouragement. After Jack leaves, Sally will gaze at the picture of Summer and Flo on her phone, looking upset.
