The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 8, tease that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will have a run-in with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at the Grand Phoenix. Summer will be leaving for Los Angeles, and she won’t tell Sally where she’s going. Sally will seem suspicious.

Later, Sally will bump into Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who will let it slip that Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are going to Los Angeles to meet with people at Spencer Publications. Sally will later text Summer saying to be sure to say hello to the Spencers in Los Angeles

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Imani Benedict Threatens Amanda Sinclair

Next on Y&R, in Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) suite, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will walk right in and start threatening Amanda. Imani will want Amanda to stop bothering Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), and she’ll accuse Amanda of being a con artist wanting to take advantage of her family.

Amanda will fight back, saying that one DNA test will blow Imani’s theory out of the water. Imani will insist that Naya doesn’t have other children, and she’ll point out that Amanda’ internet presence has been scrubbed, so she must have something to hide. Amanda will explain that she was stalked in the past, but Imani won’t buy it. Ultimately, Imani will leave in a huff.

Meanwhile, up in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) suite, they’ll enjoy each other’s company after making love. Soon, Nate will get a message from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) wanting to meet later.

Y&R Spoilers – Billy Abbott & Lily Winters Formulate A Plan

Next on Y&R, at Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily will realize that they need to fly to Seattle asap to close a big deal on a healthcare resource website that they want to buy. Billy will say that he’ll handle flight arrangements if Lily goes to talk with Nate about being the face of the brand.

Billy will soon show up on the Jabot private plane, where Kyle is already on board thinking he’s going to Los Angeles. Billy will say that he called in a favor, and the jet will also be taking him to Seattle. Kyle will fume, and he and Billy will bicker over this turn of events. Soon, Summer will join Kyle, and Billy will say there’s one more passenger coming.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Winters Makes Nate Hastings An Offer

Meanwhile, Lily will meet with Nate at Society, and she’ll explain that a website called “Ask MD Now” will soon be owned by Chancellor Communications. Lily will want Nate to be the face of the brand, but Nate won’t be sure it’s right for him. Lily will be pretty persuasive, and she’ll get Nate to think about it.

Lily will then join the others on the Jabot jet, and soon the jet will be in flight. Summer will get the text from Sally about Spencer Publications, and Summer will panic, realizing that Sally knows what she’s up to.

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton & Elena Dawson Have A Civil Conversation

Next on Y&R, Elena and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will talk at Crimson Lights. Elena will tell Devon that she took his advice and moved on, and Devon will be understanding and happy for her.

Devon will say that he doesn’t want to waste time being angry or throwing blame around. Elena will mention Amanda to Devon, but Devon will say that they’re just friends and he’ll dismiss the comment.

At the Grand Phoenix, Devon will talk with Amanda, who will relay her earlier conversation with Imani. Amanda will be furious, and she’ll think that it’s high time that she force the issue. Devon will ask what that means, and Amanda will say that she’s going to Wilmette to confront Naya…right now.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Worries About Summer Newman’s Trip To LA

Meanwhile, Sally will call her sister Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck) to say that things aren’t going as planned, and that Kyle and Summer are going to Los Angeles to meet with Spencer Publications. Sally will lament that Summer can’t find out what happened before she left Los Angeles.

In Nate and Elena’s suite at the Grand Phoenix, Elena and Nate will regroup, and Elena will hear all about Nate’s new job offer. Elena will playfully tease Nate, having him remove his shirt and talk about healthcare as she videotapes him.

Back on the Jabot jet, Lily will get a text from Nate saying that he needs some more time to think about the website job offer. Suddenly, some turbulence will hit, and Summer, Kyle, Billy, and Lily will reel as the jet bounces around.

Y&R Spoilers  – Naya Benedict & Amanda Sinclair Come Face To Face

Finally, on Friday’s new episode of Y&R, Amanda will show up at Naya’s house in Wilmette. Amanda will boisterously knock on the door and yell so that the neighbors can hear. Amanda will finally get her way when the door opens and Naya is standing there. Amanda and Naya will look at each other emotionally.
