The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, June 5 – Kyle & Lola’s First Christmas – Billy Keeps A Secret From His Family – Nick Gives In To Chelsea

Young and the Restless Spoilers Kyle Abbott & Lola Rosales, Sasha Calle, Michael Mealor, The CBS Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 5, tease that viewers will see an encore episode of Y&R that originally aired on December 24, 2019. In the episode, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will chat at the bar at Society. Theo will quickly start complaining about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sabotaging him. Summer will think that Theo is sabotaging himself by obsessing over Kyle.

Theo will accuse Summer of taking Kyle’s side once again, and she’ll tell Theo to focus on his work. Theo will accuse Summer of needing to do the same, and he’ll say that she still has a major thing for Kyle. Summer will quickly conclude that Theo was projecting onto her when he said she still wanted Kyle…because Theo wants Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle).

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Newman Gives Theo Vanderway Some Advice

Theo and Summer will bicker some more, and Summer will say that she feels sorry for Theo because he’ll never get Lola. Theo will fire back that he doesn’t want Lola, and Summer will point out that Theo wants Kyle’s whole life. Summer will say that Theo should give up on women for a while and just concentrate on his amazing opportunity at work.

Summer also will encourage Theo to evaluate whether this job is really for him, and Theo will think that Summer is trying to attack him and get him to resign. Summer will tell Theo to be honest about what he really wants before exiting the bar.

Y&R Spoilers: Kyle Abbott & Lola Abbott Enjoy Their First Christmas Together

Next on Y&R, at their apartment, Kyle and Lola will decorate their first Christmas tree as a married couple, and the mood will be happy, although Kyle won’t be able to help himself but to bring up Theo and some of the problems they’re having at Jabot. Lola will disapprove of all the Theo talk, and they’ll turn to a discussion of their perfect home and Kyle will light the Christmas tree.

Lola will say that she wishes that she could freeze this moment in time, and the two of them will discuss their Christmases as children, when Lola’s dad was missing, and Kyle’s mom wasn’t around much. Kyle and Lola will promise to be each other’s constant, and they’ll kiss happily.

Pretty soon, Kyle will again bring up Theo and one of his ridiculous ideas at Jabot as he and Lola are talking about Christmas cookies. Lola won’t want to talk about Theo, and Kyle will apologize for having Theo take up so much space in his mind. Later, Lola will get a text from Theo showing him posing with a plate of food at Society, and Lola will start to respond, but she’ll stop and put her phone down. Over at Society, Theo will be downcast to get no reply, while Summer looks at Theo inquisitively.

Devon Hamilton Surprises Elena Dawson With An Impromptu Trip

Next, at the penthouse, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will talk, and Elena will be in a great mood because she’ll have some time off coming, including New Year’s Day. Devon will be thrilled, and he’ll say that they’re going to head to London, which is somewhere Elena has always wanted to go.

Davon will think that the trip will give them a chance to reset after their recent rough patch, and Elena will say that she knows that the holidays will be rough after losing Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). Elena will be thrilled with their upcoming trip, and together they’ll make a hotel reservation online for their trip.

Nick Newman Reluctantly Agrees To Spend The Holiday With Adam Newman – CBS Soap Opera Spoilers

Next on Y&R, at the Grand Phoenix, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will talk with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who will be wrapping presents in the lobby. Nick will be on the lookout for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), but Phyllis will want to talk about holiday plans and how they’re going to divide their time with Summer. They’ll go back and forth about it, and Nick will suggest that Phyllis spend time with the Newmans.

Phyllis will agree, and she and Nick will be talking and smiling at each other when Chelsea comes in. Chelsea and Nick will talk privately, and Nick will bring up Christmas plans. Nick will want to spend a special day with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). Chelsea will like the idea, but she’ll say that she’d like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to be invited, too. Nick will balk, but eventually he’ll agree to invite Adam.

CBS Young and Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott Reaches Out To Billy Abbott

At Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will arrive to see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Billy will be finishing up a business call, and Jack will wish that Billy was back at Jabot, but he’ll say that this wasn’t the purpose of his trip to the house. Jack will want to talk about Christmas plans, and Billy will say that things are hectic with his new job.

Billy will also reveal that he, Victoria, and the kids were going to Telluride for the holidays. Jack will be disappointed, and Billy will think that Jack is worried about him. Jack will say that he’d been concerned since this year has been so difficult for Billy. Jack will wonder if Billy is still seeing his therapist, and Billy will say no, but that he is talking with someone.

Jack will apologize for intruding, and he’ll say that he’ll miss Billy at Christmas. The brothers will hug, and Jack will say that he’s always there if Billy wants to talk. Billy will think to himself that he can’t tell Jack what’s really going on because Jack doesn’t want to hear the truth – that he’s really a mess.

Chance Chancellor Considers Embarking On A New Career

Next on Y&R, over at Crimson Lights, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will talk with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). After some small talk, Chance will tell Paul why he wanted to meet. Chance will say that the undercover life wasn’t right for him anymore, and eventually Paul will guess that Chance is thinking about becoming a private investigator.

Chance will ask Paul for advice, and Paul will say that the work can be slow, but Chance will think that sounds pretty good when the alternative is changing his name, life, and everything about himself. Paul will wonder if Chance is ready to put down roots in Genoa City.

Phyllis Summers Rubs Billy Abbott The Wrong Way – CBS Soap Spoilers

Over near the coffee counter, Phyllis will approach Billy, telling him about being fired from the Grand Phoenix but remaining there since she was still part owner. Billy will say that he admires her for standing her ground and being in control of her own destiny. The compliment will surprise Phyllis.

Through the course of their conversation, Phyllis will learn that Billy has a mid-level consulting job, and she’ll think that Billy could do better. Billy will gripe that here’s another person criticizing his choices, and that she should understand him not wanting to work at his family company.

Phyllis will get it, and she’ll end up telling Billy that he deserves to have the life that he wants, a long as he doesn’t lose any more yachts. Billy will think to himself that the problem is that he doesn’t know who the real Billy is anymore.

Across the room, Chance will thank Paul for the talk, and the men will part. Phyllis will walk up to Chance and ask if his talk with Paul had anything to do with what happened in Las Vegas. Phyllis will think that Chance should just tell her what happened between himself and Adam in Vegas, saying that she’ll just keep persisting.

Y&R Updates: Billy Abbott Makes A Risky Move

Finally, Billy will go to the dive bar, where he will promptly join a poker game. Billy will tell himself that he’ll just play one hand, then quit, and he’ll do exactly that. Billy will then tell himself that it had been easier than he thought.
