The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, May 22 – Gloria Slapped With Restraining Order – Winters Family Adopts Devon – Paul & JT Team Up

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 22, tease that viewers will see an encore Y&R episode that originally aired on December 7, 2006. In the episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott Carlton (Eileen Davidson) will be upset when they learn that Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) plans to go on a TV show representing the Abbott name.

Ashley will summon Gloria to Crimson Lights, where she and Jack will tell Gloria that they don’t want her to go on the show. Gloria will reply that it’s too bad because she’s already said yes to the show. Jack and Ashley will later plot to take the Abbott name away from Gloria, and they’ll toast to their plan.

Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will inform a surprised Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) that Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) quit the murder investigation. Gloria will arrive and tell Michael and Lauren that she’s planning to appear as a guest judge to represent the Abbotts. Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) will arrive, and they’ll all head to the boutique. Lauren will introduce Amber to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), and Esther Valentine (Kate Linder).

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: The Winters Family Adopts Devon Hamilton

Next on Y&R, Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) will talk with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about her family’s plans to adopt Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Sharon will be happy with the news, and soon Michael will call to say that the Winters family can come meet with the judge about the adoption. At the courthouse, the judge will talk with Devon, wondering how his biological parents would feel about Drucilla and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) adopting him.

Devon will say that his biological mom was back on drugs, but that she loves him and would want what’s best for him. Devon will say that he already considers Drucilla and Neil to be his parents. The judge will allow the adoption to proceed, and the family will go to celebrate, also inviting Sharon, Michael, and Lauren. Michael will say that he needs to take Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Amiel and Avital Weiss) home first.

Gloria Abbott Is Prevented From Representing The Abbotts On TV – CBS Soap Updates

Next on Y&R, from home, Lauren will call Michael, wondering where he and Fen are. Lauren will be quite relieved when Michael returns home with Fen. Michael will tell her about the Winters family’s offer to go celebrate Devon’s adoption, but Lauren will say that she wants to stay home. Gloria, who will also be at the house, will hold Fen, and soon she’ll get served with a restraining order from Jack and Ashley, preventing her from appearing on the TV show as an Abbott.

Meanwhile, while dining, Katherine will talk with Jill, telling her that no matter what, they’ll always be mother and daughter. Esther, who will be with them, will notice a renowned psychic dining at the restaurant. Esther will talk with the psychic, who will tell Katherine to get some new shoes. She’ll also tell Jill to look out for an obsessive woman going after her man. Later, Katherine’s heel will break.

Paul Williams & JT Hellstrom Decide To Conduct Their Own Investigation

Meanwhile, Paul will inform JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) that he’s off the murder case due to his association with Brad Carlton (Don Diamont). Paul will say that he doesn’t think that Devon is guilty of the crime, and Paul and JT will decide to keep on investigating to find out who really murdered Carmen Mesta (Marisa Ramirez).

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Colleen Carlton Gets The Jealousy Bug

Next on Y&R, Professor Adrian Korbel (Eyal Podell) will end his meeting with Coleen Carlton (Adrianne Leon), but later, when Colleen is out with JT, she’ll get annoyed when she witnesses Professor Korbel flirting with a bartender. Colleen will be irritated by the whole scene and she’ll wonder why Professor Korbel cut their meeting short for this.

JT will think that Colleen should forget about it, but Colleen will keep watching Professor Korbel as he interacts with Amber. Amber and Professor Korbel will chat about Amber’s new job at the boutique, and Amber will wonder if she can sit in on one of his classes sometime.
