Nick Newman’s Tough Love

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 29, indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will join forces and serve Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) some tough love.

Nick not only collapsed during the Thursday, May 27 episode … he stopped breathing!

Thanks to Matt Clarke (Roger Howarth) jumping into action, and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) assisting with CPR, Nick’s alive.

It looks like Nick will be sent straight to rehab, with no “ifs, ands, or buts”, as both Nikki and Victor know their son needs help with his painkiller addiction. His life depends on it.

Phyllis Summer’s Serves Up A History Lesson

Speaking of Phyllis, she’ll give Patty a history lesson. The two will likely clash over Matt, and since both threw the man under the bus and tried to send him into Victor’s lair, they’ll banter over who the biggest villainess in town is.

Phyllis has done some pretty terrible stuff over the years; however, Patty could be crowned the worst Genoa City resident alive for what she did to Colleen Carton (Tammin Sursok), and not to mention the ‘peanut-kiss-of-death’ she laid on Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) when she was a kid!

Where’s Diane Abbott?

Finally, The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that Diane hasn’t been onscreen all week.

In fact, many have noted she hasn’t been in the office, but thought she had been hiding because of how upset she is over Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) one-nighter with Patty.

During the May 29 episode, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have shocking news, which pretty much implies that Diane is MIA.
