‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, May 8: Nick’s Secret, Lauren’s Warning, Chelsea Interrogates

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Friday, May 8, 2026. In tomorrow’s episode, we can expect Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to share a secret.

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) warns Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) grills Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Chelsea Lawson Interrogates

Let’s start off with Chelsea, who has been suspicious since Las Vegas. Now that things seem to have settled down, Chelsea wants some answers.

The woman will grill Adam about what happened with Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani). 

Chelsea knows that Adam had to embrace “Spider” and convince Riza that he could be trusted. At the same time, Riza hinted about her “connection” with Adam like in the old days.

Fans know that Adam kissed Riza, but it was just part of the act. Thankfully, Adam didn’t have to sleep with her. However, Chelsea might not be able to get over the fact that Adam had his lips on another woman.

Nick Newman’s Secret

Over with Nick, he just watched Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) chat it up with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Is Nick going to confront Matt or maybe follow the guy? Nick has no idea that Matt is acting like he has amnesia.

Sure, it could be true, but nobody is going to believe that.

So, it could set up Nick to be a stalker. There is also the chance that Nick spots Phyllis, but can’t tell it’s Matt she is talking to. 

Later, Nick confides a secret to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). This could be about what really happened in Vegas.

Victoria will be horrified that her brother nearly died, but will be glad he’s getting help now.

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect in tomorrow’s episode, Lauren will try to warn Phyllis. Lauren might fear that this has already gone too far.

Phyllis was arrested and so was Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). While Lauren is on Phyllis’ side, she also knows what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is capable of. 

Of course, this warning could also be about Matt. I’m not sure if Lauren would recognize Matt, but she certainly knows all about the things he’s done.

So, Phyllis could be in grave danger. Or, this could be an opportunity for her to earn the ultimate redemption.
