The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, November 29: Phyllis Surprises Adam for Thanksgiving – Tension Grows for Chelsea and Nick

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, November 29, tease that it’ll be Thanksgiving in Genoa City. At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) place, he encourages Summer Newman (Hunter King) to attend the gathering at the ranch. Summer wants a lowkey holiday with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), but she’s willing to pop in for dessert.

Talk turns to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan, but Nick isn’t certain of Chelsea’s plans for the evening. He feels like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is taking advantage of the situation with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Nick believes Adam’s using his own son and won’t let his brother get away with it.

At Adam’s penthouse, he’s unsure about Chelsea taking Connor to the ranch for Thanksgiving. Chelsea insists on it, so that leaves Adam alone for the evening – or so he thinks! Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has other plans and stops by with Chinese takeout. They chat over dinner, which leads to Phyllis grumbling about Chelsea and alluding to her plan that would’ve worked if it hadn’t been for Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Black).

Phyllis suggests she’s grateful Adam’s still alive and kicking this year. Adam earns a smile when he suggests there are worse ways to spend the holiday. Phyllis and Adam share a toast, so it sounds like a pretty nice Thanksgiving for the outcasts.

At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is hoping Connor ends up being part of the celebration. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) suggests Chelsea will be the one to decide that. After Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) arrives with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), they talk about the kids dashing down to the stables. Billy gets needled about his lack of employment, but he jokes with Victor a bit. Victoria ultimately apologizes on her father’s behalf.

After Chelsea shows up with Nick, they reveal that Connor and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) are with Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) and Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare). Nikki is pleased about Victor’s improved health and wants the whole gang to take a trip to Switzerland soon. Chelsea isn’t keen on taking Connor away from his dad for too long.

The evening remains tense for Chelsea and Nick, so the others take notice. Summer makes it time for dessert, so she decides to offer Chelsea some support. She checks in about Connor and lets her know she’s there if Chelsea needs anything. Summer also embraces Victor and lets him know she’s mostly forgiven him at this point.

Once Summer dashes off again, Nikki has everyone share what he or she’s grateful for this year. Once they’re done, Victor kisses Nikki while Billy kisses Victoria. Chelsea and Nick don’t engage in the lip lock portion of the festivities.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Genoa City Gives Back

Back at Adam’s penthouse, Chelsea’s curious about the two glasses that were left out. Adam mentions Phyllis stopping by with Chinese food. He wonders if Chelsea’s going back to Nick’s, but she opts to stay over at Adam’s tonight and texts a glum Nick with the news.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is pleased to have some help. She’s kicking off her annual event to feed the homeless. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) squeezes in some time to serve, so Sharon’s glad she could make it. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) also show up to do their part.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) are on hand as well, but Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) arrival makes a few waves. Elena tells Lola that Amanda is a snake, so it’s clear that there’s still plenty of friction between them. Nate chats up Amanda, who reveals she isn’t close to her family.

Later, Nate lets Elena know that Amanda may be sticking around Genoa City. That infuriates Elena, who scolds Nate for getting played and stomps off. Nate is undeterred and offers to give Amanda a real estate agent’s name. Amanda mentions changing her phone number since she had to get rid of all the annoying calls she was getting.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Rey And Sharon’s Sweet Moment

Marah talks to Kyle about counting his blessings, not his problems. Kyle gazes adoringly at Lola and agrees that’s the right idea. After Mariah tells Sharon how proud she is to be her daughter, she leaves and Sharon’s ultimately alone with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Rey’s pleased about how well the event went. He thinks Sharon gave it the spirit of generosity and slow dances with her by the jukebox.
