Y&R spoilers reveal that Gaines helped Billy fall right into Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) hands. It wasn’t something that Gaines did by choice, though. Gaines’ contempt for Victor and Adam was clear before the blackmailer recanted his statement on camera.

Before leaving Genoa City, Gaines paid a visit to ChancComm. At that time, he told Billy good luck, that he was going to need it and gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder. Despite being a blackmailer, Gaines actually seemed to feel guilty about leaving Billy and Lily in a terrible position.

Y&R Spoilers – More Fallout Teased

Thompson teased to Soap Opera Digest that the fallout is only beginning. Based on that interview, as well as hints from recent episodes, and it’s clear there are more bombshells coming. In fact, Adam told Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) that Billy committed a crime by blackmailing Newman Media.

Plus, a promo shows Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) telling Adam that he almost feels guilty for kicking Billy when he’s already down. So, that suggests Billy and Lily will be dealing with yet another devastating blow besides the libel lawsuit.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Gaines’ initial goal was to get one huge payout from Ashland since he was reportedly dying. Then, Gaines was confronted by Victor. Gaines would bounce back and forth between the two sides until it wasn’t clear what the truth was anymore.

Even though Gaines’ main goal was to take down Ashland and get a huge payout, it seems he could hate two people even more now: Victor and Adam.

Y&R Spoilers – Last-Minute Save?

As Billy and Lily continue to face the consequences resulting from Gaines’ coerced double-crossing, this story isn’t over. Gaines’ guilty conscience could get to him and he might have a change of heart. The only problem is that nobody will believe anything he says.

The only way he will be able to prove the “real truth” is by secretly recording a conversation with Victor and Adam. Could Gaines give that recording to Billy and Lily, which could not only save them, but ChancComm as well? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out what happens next.

      Wow all of a sudden Gaines has a guilty conscience and wants to clear Billy and Lily,
      I think Billy will believe him with his change of heart. If he has a recording conversation between Victor and Adam go for it and lets see how far this goes. I can't wait till he finds out that Ashland isn't dying of cancer, he lied to his wife Victoria and everyone around him especially Victor and Adam.

      I'm over this story let Billy deal with this on his own. He has caused a lot of problems over the years he needs to grow up. Get on another story this one is more than over

      Ashland is good at lying. What happen to Tara? Dumped her and married Victoria with in two months. That was really fast.
