Perhaps Rey will tell Nick that Sharon will continue to need his support. Rey might also give Nick and Sharon permission to move on with each other. Of course, don’t expect Nick and Sharon to rekindle their romance right away. It wouldn’t be right to move on so quickly after Rey’s death.
However, it is teased that the two will eventually turn their friendship and co-parenting into love. With Rey giving them permission, it would eliminate any guilt Sharon would have for finding love again.

Rey is going to say what a dumb move it was killing him off. He is going to say that if the writers can't think of anything better to do that put Nick and Sharon together AGAIN they ought to seek out a new line of work.
