Daniel Romalotti returned to The Young and the Restless in 2023, the popular character was welcomed back by fans with open arms.  Daniel was finally single after being married to Heather for years, and it didn’t take him long to reunite with his first love Lily Winters. 

Lily and Daniel’s romance was wildly popular among Y&R fans, but then his ex-wife Heather Stevens also moved back to Genoa City and things went downhill from there.

Christel Khalil revealed she was pregnant in 2022, and The Young and the Restless writers came up with an excuse to get Lily out of town for a few months.  But, while the cat is away the mice will play. 

While Lily was dealing with her own family issues, Y&R spoilers show Heather used that time to win back Daniel and try to reunite the tiny family they had with Lucy Romalotti.  How can Lily compete with that when she’s thousands of miles away?

It’s safe to say at this point Lily and Daniel are done.  But, will anyone tune in to watch him eating dinner with Heather and Lucy? 

Rumor has it Daniel and Heather will pack Lucy up and return to Portugal together, leaving Lily and Genoa City in their rearview mirror.
