After Lily leaves GCAC, Daniel asks why Heather has been avoiding his phone calls. It doesn’t make sense to Daniel why his ex would completely ghost him. He thought they were in a good place.

According to Y&R spoilers, Daniel presses Heather to come clean about why she’s avoiding him. Sure, they disagreed about handling Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) case, but he thought they agreed to do what was best for his mom.

After the case was closed, he assumed they would get along better. But he has tried to contact her for the past few weeks, and she refuses to take his calls.

Heather doesn’t explain why she ghosted him. She answers vaguely and doesn’t really say what is bothering her.

She claims she’s been busy but refuses to say what her new project is. That alarms Daniel, as he knows for a fact that Phyllis’s case is closed, and she’s received her sentence.

Heather doesn’t want to tell Daniel what is really bothering her. She isn’t sure she’s ready to move on from Daniel. She sees the man she fell in love with now that he’s conquered his demons. She’s jealous that Lily is getting the old Daniel back.
