The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) answered Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) question directly. He is glad that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is moving back to Genoa City, Wisconsin, because that means he will get to see his daughter regularly. Lily senses the obvious. Heather and Daniel’s years-long relationship ended with a thud when he fell into a self-described dark place. But that was then.

Today, Daniel says he is in a good head space and does not want Lily to be concerned about him, though he appreciates her heartfelt compassion. However, Daniel does not appear to recognize two important plot points.

Heather never fell out of love. Instead, she was alienated by him when he went off the rails and his personality radically changed.

She has served as Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) mother figure during all of her known conscience existence.

Devoted viewers know that Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) daughter, Daisy Carter Romalotti (Yvonne Zima), is Lucy’s biological mother but has not been seen since the character O’Briant plays was a baby.

Daniel ruined his pairing with Heather, with fans wondering if they never got engaged or married because something was off and then came to pass when they were living in Lisbon, Portugal. No matter, the love Heather has for Daniel persists and she intends to reclaim the family she and Daniel had.

Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Is Assessing The Situation

Regardless of whatever Daniel might say or even how he feels right now, Lily is assessing what Heather’s unexpected full-time return to GC means.

Daniel does not appear to be still in love with Heather, though he cares about her. He and Lily have not had enough time to formalize their reconnection. So, neither party can say they are sure to build upon their reignited feelings.

While Heather has not told Daniel she wants him back, she is being purposefully subtle. Being in GC will allow her to assess Lily’s place in Daniel’s heart.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Feels Good

Career-wise, Daniel feels good. His gaming company is off to a good start and appears to have a promising future.

He is happy that a surprise re-pairing with Lily happened. Her reemergence in his life happened at a perfect time, helping him to deal with the end of his relationship with Heather, the rift he had with Lucy, and the issues with his mother.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) retains her normal role, a wild card. She wants Daniel to reunite with Heather.

Daniel’s decisions are likely to be impacted by Phyllis’ involvement in her son’s life. Heather and Lily also appear to be emerging rivals on Y&R.
