The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is in dire need of a hot new romance, so could Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) fit the bill? Let’s talk about it!

Detective James Burrow Officially Enters GC

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Burrow officially left the LAPD for the GCPD when he arrived in town during the Tuesday, February 10 episode to help Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) find their son.

Dominic Winters-Chancellor (Ethan Ray Park) has been kidnapped by Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), and the detective arrived at their mansion with an update.

As Burrow noted, they were able to pinpoint Mariah’s last location. Sharon was called to the house to see if she could provide any insight as to where her daughter could be going. Sharon instantly showed up, and she and Burrows had a bit of a moment when Dabby left the room.

Sharon got very emotional regarding how guilty she felt about this situation, as while Mariah was in the facility, she was so preoccupied with Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) car crash.

As Burrow was part of that drama too, he offered a sympathetic shoulder and some nice support to the upset momma bear. Could a romance be brewing between these two?

Sharon Newman Has A Type

The scene between Burrow and Sharon offered some insight into chemistry, as the detective insisted that Sharon had a lot on her plate in L.A., and they’d do all they could to treat Mariah with the utmost respect when she was detained.

Still, despite lingering feelings for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), which may never leave Sharon due to their history, there’s a good chance that she and Burrow could have a sizzling romance.

Both are easy on the eyes, and a small spark seemed to ignite on Tuesday’s show. If given the chance, Sharon and James could heat things in the little town!

After all, if Sharon’s past dating dictates anything, they’d be a perfect match! Sharon has been known to love a man in uniform, sharing romances with cops in the past, including Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton), and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

As the Y&R continues to dance around a Shick reunion, will they take a detour and decide to couple Sharon up with Burrow?
