The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Chance Rebelling Against The Newman Machine?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could be rebelling against the Newman machine. He has been less than cooperative with running Tucker McCall (Trevor St John) out of town on a rail, could that be because of being forced into a cover up?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke Cover Up

Chance knew and had evidence that Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) body was moved from Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) “machine” was responsible. Chance would have not blamed Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or Victoria for his death, considering what had happened; it was a clear cut case of self-defense. An attack by a blunt force object could never have been proven and it was never suspected.

In Victor’s rush to conceal evidence and engineer a cover up of what really happened, all he did was make the Newmans look more guilty. One doesn’t cover up an accident with another accident unless they have something to hide!

Y & R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Is Straight Arrow

Chance has always been a straight arrow guy, and has been on the side of law and order his whole career. He’s worked for the Pentagon and the FBI and investigated and closed cases all over the world, and he doesn’t like the duplicity of the family he’s married into. He even broke off his friendship with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) when he and Abby Newman-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) married, he wanted to show her he eschewed the black sheep’s hijinks. But lately, he’s kind of rekindled that relationship because he can see why Adam rebelled against the Newman machine since he’s been married into the family. Abby is upset because he thinks people change and should be given a chance to prove it, speaking of Tucker.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – If He’s Wrong, He’s Wrong

Chance is willing to admit if he’s wrong, he’s wrong, and wishes he had been in town when Locke first showed up, he could have investigated him. Then perhaps he could have put his profiling expertise to work and prevented some tragedy before things went too far, although no one would have listened. But he doesn’t want to make trouble for Tucker based on his past because the Newman machine wants to get rid of him, based totally on past behavior.

If Tucker proves himself to be the snake that everyone says he is and he violates the law, then he’ll take him in. But he’s not going to railroad someone with no evidence of wrongdoing; he’s going to go by the law.
