The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Even Rey Rosales Suggested Chelsea Lawson May Have Really Had A Psychotic Break

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall from a recent episode of The Young and The Restless that even Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) thought she may actually be suffering from either a psychotic break or developed an actual mental illness. After she broke down with many tears as he visited her in her room in the mental health facility, he suggested that the stress that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) had put her under with his obsessiveness over Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and what she had gone through when Adam remembered what he had done as a child could have broken her mentally.

Then there was all the time she spent paralyzed in a wheelchair, which indirectly could have been Adam’s fault too – but he had no idea that she was in a building when he cut the power off trying to stop him from bombing the Newman Towers! Her fall trying to climb out of a stuck elevator was likely what had caused her brain aneurysm.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Rey tried to convince her that despite the ill-gotten photo of Adam kissing Sharon, which should not have happened, he had gotten over his own paranoia of them having an affair and was convinced they were not. But Chelsea seemed not relieved, but still convinced that she saw Adam and Sharon trotting upstairs in the penthouse right in front of her! The thing that was really telling is what Chelsea thought to herself after Rey left from visiting her that day – that Sharon was the cause of all of her problems!

Y&R Spoilers – Is Chelsea Lawson Merely Blameshifting, Or Is She Really Suffering From Paranoid Delusions About Sharon Rosales?

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Chelsea stood by and tried to help Adam for all those months that he was having flashbacks of when he killed the man in Kansas, who was his childhood friend’s father. It didn’t help his stress level when his friend tried to kill him and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) saved his life, returning a favor back in Vegas when he saved Chance’s life! But the thing that seemed to turn Chelsea the other way was when she saw that photo someone took of Adam and Sharon kissing and it wound up spread all over the internet!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall the anger and betrayal Chelsea felt but couldn’t express trapped inside her body. It had to be shortly after that she started getting her body movements and speech back, and then recruited Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to help get items from Sharon and Rey’s house and other things in order to frame Adam for poisoning Rey.

Chloe was all in but even she got mad at Chelsea when she realized her crazy plan made her an accomplice to attempted murder! She didn’t break up their years-long friendship, but she sure told Chelsea off about getting her in potential legal trouble! Rey may be right – seeing that viral photo which symbolized Adam’s many betrayals with Sharon, even if they weren’t physical affairs, may have put Chelsea over the edge!
