According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Kyle Abbott is dealing with major losses in his life. He has nothing to celebrate. The first was the demise of his marriage to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Their happy marriage fell apart when Summer hid the fact that her mom Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) faked her death.

She played the same game that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) played. However, she didn’t get away with it. She only got away with it in court. She lost her inner circle and family ever since.

Phyllis is desperate to let the residents of Genoa City know that she’s a changed woman.

Kyle was upset that Summer sided with her mom instead of his. He also had to deal with the aftermath of his fallout with Jabot.

He had an affair with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Charles) while his marriage to Summer was crumbling. She convinced him that they could both take over Jabot.

Little did Kyle know that Audra was only using him to get ahead and get Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to join him in her plan. Kyle and Audra’s affair ended as quickly as it started.

Y&R fans noticed that Mealor hasn’t been on the soap since. He hasn’t even been featured in any Abbott celebrations. They wondered about his current status with the show.

Y&R Spoilers – Michael Mealor Speaks Out

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Michael Mealor joined the cast in 2018. He announced his exit in July 2021.

However, he continued to make occasional appearances over the years. Mealor returned on a full-time basis in 2022.

In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Mealor shared something else that he’s passionate about. He admitted that he loves “writing.” He also admitted that he would major in architecture and open a record label if he could.

However, he didn’t share any details about Kyle’s future in Genoa City. He has many passions to fall on if his soap stint doesn’t work out.
