The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is That Really Cole, Or A Doppelganger Imposter?

The Young and The Restless spoilers question if that is really Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) or a doppelganger imposter planted by Jordan (Colleen Zenk)? Longtime viewers seem to think he’s a lot different than how they remembered him before-of course, it could just be because he’s gotten older.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nice, Maybe Too Nice?

Some are suspicious of Cole because he seems maybe too nice-he doesn’t say a lot and some feel that’s because he’s shady.

They question why he would go all the way from Genoa City to the lake house in Oregon in order to get DNA. They are suspecting it’s really from a hairbrush used on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Of course if he is an imposter and playing a part, of course he might avoid answering too many questions about things he may not have been coached on. But as many details from long ago that Jordan knows, it’s doubtful she wouldn’t coach him correctly were he a plant.

Y & R Spoilers – He Didn’t Say Much To Ashley Abbott

He ran into Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) recently, with whom he’d cheated on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) years ago. Victoria had become pregnant on purpose with baby Eve to try and hang onto her cheating husband, but by the time she was born she’d moved on.

Cole was with Ashley when Victoria was with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), and he didn’t say much to Ashley-if he is an imposter that might be why.

Or, he may just have wanted to make clear without coming out and saying it that he wasn’t interested in a redo with her. Ashley has been known for having an emotionally fragile side and having a couple of breakdowns.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had requested a meeting with Cole and he was concerned about Cole reconciling with Victoria again, not approving.

But that could be because he’d hurt her in the past because he wasn’t the most faithful husband back then-Victor also wanted to know his parenting plans.

Cole told him he was staying as long as he needed to support Victoria in their supporting and being parents to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

When Cole talked to Victoria later, he didn’t reveal everything Victor said to him. But he may have just not wanted to upset her, considering she’s been through a rough time as he has concerning having a daughter they thought died.

Y & R Spoilers – Where Is The Real Cole Howard If This One’s An Imposter?

Cole and Victoria hadn’t been in touch for years, but yet when Jordan summoned him to the lake house, it was a faked call from Nikki about Victoria being in trouble.

That does seem a little odd-for him to come to an unknown address in Oregon from Oxford University, where he was teaching, to rescue Victoria.

Wouldn’t he have questioned where Victor and his men were, or her brother Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) or even the local police? And if this Cole is an imposter, where is the real one-or is the real one still teaching and not on a sabbatical?

There are some strange aspects to this reunion story, it would seem, that still need to play out.
