Viewers of “The Young and The Restless” have long been wondering if Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ever find true love. Their favorite character may find a real long lasting love soon. With Eva La Rue set to make her debut on the soap as Celeste Rosales on June 26, she could very well be the one Jack’s been waiting for. Jack and Celeste could be the next couple that fans would love to see on screen.

Celeste is the mother of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Arturo Rosales (Jason Canel), and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and also Peter’s long-time friend. Ever since her casting and the date of her debut was announced, “The Young and The Restless” viewers have been wondering what her character is all about, what she’s doing in Genoa City, and if she’ll be Jack’s next love interest.

LaRue is known for her role as Maria Santos in the ABC soap “All My Children” between 1993 and 2011. In the previous soap, she moved from Miami to Pine Valley but in “The Young and The Restless,” she’s moving from Miami to Genoa City. When she portrayed Maria, she played as a neurosurgeon. Now that she’s set to be Celeste, many would surely like to see her wear a doctor’s coat once again.

Her character Maria, has been through a lot. She suffered amnesia and even got involved in medical experiments like Project Orpheus. She’s struggled with her love life, work life, and even personal life. With her calibre and experience, it is safe to say that LaRue has the chops to take on all the drama that “The Young and The Restless” has to offer.

Young And The Restless – Jack Abbott Needs A Love Interest

Viewers may recall that there have been huge changes within the Rosales family. Recently, Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo moved back to Miami. With Arturo and Rey’s mother heading to town, it’s safe to say that she’s got some complicated relationship with her kids.

Moving on to her love life, Celeste is a gorgeous woman and fans are thinking that she’s perfect for Jack. With their kids dating, Kyle Abbot (Michael Mealor) and Lola, they’re bound to meet and who knows, it could very well be instant attraction. For now, all viewers can do is speculate. They just have to wait and see if Celeste is indeed Jack’s new love interest.
