Jack is going as far as he can to keep Diane in the Abbott family. Following Kyle’s green-light, Jack’s endorsement of Diane is monumental.
Viewers know that Diane is not lying about wanting a relationship with Kyle and Harrison. Fans know that she also hopes to rekindle the romance she and Jack once shared.
While Jack and Diane have been married multiple times, they have never participated in completed nuptials with each other. Momentum might lead both characters in that direction in present day, but Jack is far from taking that leap.

Weakest Moments was the last track originally released on Mellencamp’s career altering record. But a re-released edition included the album’s title song, American Fool, which Jack wants to avoid being.
Jeremy’s release from prison winks hard at him confirming she provided intel that put him away in return for immunity. Jack and Kyle are in position to serve as Diane’s defenders.
Depending upon what happens in this developing storyline, Kyle could see his parents cross a new threshold and become a couple again. Whether he will need select music for Jack and Diane’s wedding remains a stretch on Y&R.
