The Young And The Restless; jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) continues to lend an ear to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She confided in her ex-husband after breaking up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Phyllis’ conversation with Jack came as no surprise to viewers, who heard Nick recently say that she uses Bergman’s character as her first fallback. Nick’s predictive tell proved spot on.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kudos For A Jointly Imagined Scene

Creative scenes are a hallmark in daytime. In this instance, TPTB had Nick approach Phyllis’ Grand Phoenix suite.

Nick was about to knock on the door when he reconsidered. Phyllis was seen inside the room. That is when a joint daydream-like sequence masterfully played out.

With brushed visual hues enveloping them, Nick and Phyllis were shown verbally debating. There were extended bits of recent arguments built into the imagined confrontation. But, as viewers saw, the play was a joint projection.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Owes A Lot

Nick’s financial backing enables Phyllis to be the owner of the hotel she used to reestablish herself in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Morrow’s character mentioned that he sided with Phyllis over his sister, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), in that transaction. Stafford’s character conceded that point.

Devoted viewers recall that Abby attempted to force Phyllis out of the dual ownership stake the ladies held. But Phyllis was able to meet Abby’s financial ask with Nick’s money.

Nick owes Phyllis more than an apology. She has changed and is not the old Red he was once attracted to. At the same time, it is fair for Nick to conclude that he can never be secure with Phyllis because of her revealed feelings about the Newman family dynamic.

Y&R appears to have split this edition of Phick with new storylines in mind for both characters.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phack Comeback Teased For Months

Jack’s search for love briefly centered on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). But Jally was no long-term love match.

However, Jack’s recent, open admission of love for Phyllis felt like a foreshadowing. Phick’s troubles began bubbling and have since burst.

Some Y&R loyalists may have felt that Phick was destined for failure. But some from that contingent, along with other fans, may also believe those past Phack marriages did not work. So, could another version of Jack and Phyllis succeed even though the Nick and Phyllis reboot did not?

Jack is not Nick. Phyllis is not who she used to be. So, maybe the current version of Phyllis and Jack’s wiser self is the better pairing on Y&R?
