The Young And The Restless spoilers indicate that Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) drinking will continue to spiral out of control.

Obviously, Seth (Brian Gaskill) was introduced simply to bring Jack Abbott (Peter Berman) into this storyline After all, there is no chemistry between Nikki and Seath at all. However, introducing Jack as a means of support could really cause a stir with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Seth Begged Nikki Newman For Help

The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that Seth went to Nikki’s office and begged her to help him.

However, Nikki tried to explain that it didn’t work that way and she could not be around her sponsor once they chose to go back to drinking. Therefore, Nikki had no choice but to cut ties with Seth. Two alcoholics cannot help each other.

Nikki is already struggling and trying to help Seth could make her much worse instead of helping her to get better.

Being dragged into Seth’s relapse would have simply caused Nikki to drink that much more while trying to help him. Nikki doesn’t want to admit she has a problem now, she surely wouldn’t admit it if her sponsor is drinking too.

Y&R Spoilers – Are Seth’s Days Numbered?

It seems rather obvious that Seth isn’t going to be around for a long time. As a matter of fact, there is a good chance that Seth will soon be injured or dead.

As a result of this, Nikki is going to have to have a new sponsor and Jack has offered to be there for her. Jack blames himself for the way he treated Nikki when they were together and she started drinking.

However, Nikki knows that Seath is in trouble and if something happens to him, she is certainly going to fall off the wagon again.

After all, Nikki feels guilty for telling Seth she can’t help him in the first place. Nikki has been through so much in the past two months that she cannot afford to have anything else on her conscience.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lauren Fenmore Has Involved Jack Abbott

Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) has already pulled Jack into this and he may have to step up as Nikki’s sponsor. After all, Jack was an addict as well and knows how to help Nikki to deal with this.

Lauren may not be available when Nikki reaches out to her leaving Nikki no choice but to call on Jack for help.

Jack has told Nikki how much he wants to be there for her and to help her deal with her drinking. Nikki wasn’t happy about his involvement but she certainly doesn’t want Victor knowing just how much she is drinking either.

Will Nikki’s new sponsor cause issues in her marriage if Victor learns that Jack is her sponsor?
