Phyllis had Sally’s number from the jump. She sees herself in Sally, but hasn’t been able to dissuade either half of Jally, or Sack if one prefers, to-date.
It’s hard to know if Sally sees Jack as a pure social-climb play, or she actually is falling for him. Regardless, Phyllis thinks this pairing is wrong and plans to fight it.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Believes In Love
Love is the baseline reason why Jack is open to Sally. He believes, as a lonely yet previously romantically successful guy should, that he can fall in love with the right woman again.
Phyllis wants the best for Jack because she still cares about him. Stafford’s iconic character is deeply in love with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) again, which hardcore fans know led to the end of Phack many years ago. However, both halves of that one-time married couple have long since moved on and do look out for each other.

So, it’s not that Phyllis wants Jack to fail. In contrast, she believes that Sally isn’t interested in loving Jack, but using him.
Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Fallout Factor Applied
No matter how it happens or when, viewers know that Jack will learn that Sally has been basically blackmailing Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). The fact that she’s doing that with information about a boy who could be Jack’s first known grandchild is reprehensible.
Normally Jack would react with fury and threaten retaliation against the person who was attacking his son and the Abbott family. But Sally has quickly become more than an acquaintance or even just a friend.
Kyle and Summer Newman (Hunter King) are deeply bothered by Sally’s pursuit of Jack. They know that she’s a snake and fear that her bite could cause Jack’s collapse, as he’s been vulnerable for the last few years.

Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra’s Mettle Tested
Even her detractors have to hand it to Sally, the lady is resilient. Yes, she has a bad habit of sabotaging her own hard-earned progress. But Sally gets up off the mat and just keeps pushing.
There won’t be a way to talk or kiss her way out of this eventual reveal. Clothing gifts won’t heal the rift that’s coming. Instead, Sally will have to convince Jack that she was wrong and that they’re right together.
Y&R’s pairing is great due to the talents of both superb actors. Here’s hoping this duo survives because the plot possibilities are just too good to end abruptly.

Phyllis/Sally, what's the difference both tacky with mouths bigger than the Hudson River, no time for either, I just forward through their painful scenes, I have better things to do, or even if I didn't, I'd rather watch paint dry than those two.
I would love to see Jack and Sally together as a couple I think he could be very good for her if the writers would only let her let her guard down and love again, she's been hurt by one to many men that she loved deeply they only used her as a place holder , Wyatt and Thomas both. She has a lot to offer she just needs to get out of her own way. I never liked Summer and Kyle ..they have forced that coupling on us for so long I am not invested in them any longer. Phyllis a long time ago was in love with Nick very deeply and went out of her way to prove something and seduced Ronan and Nick found out and they were over ..so many times Phyllis has deceived Nick and yet he keeps going back for more …the sooner they all leave the better I think !
I hope they find out quickly that Chelsea can walk and talk and is behind the poisoning of Rey trying to set up Adam and hurting Sharon by showing her what it's like to lose the man you love like she didn't know already. Chloe is behind the putting Thalium in his shampoo I believe and I hope they catch them both and lock them up and throw away the key. Why is it Adam that keeps ending up in jail wrongly accused? I hope Victor can get to the bottom of it all quickly!
