Meanwhile, Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) connection to Diane has been revealed by Walters’ character. He does not like that she did so because it lessens his ability to control her.

But Jeremy’s coincidental return, just after Diane’s tell to Jack, telegraphs to distraction. The immediate threat would not be what Tucker did in the recent past. Instead, it would be whatever Jeremy’s presumed negative intent will be.

St. John’s character is pursuing a specific agenda. He wants to reconnect with his son. Tucker hopes to skillfully engineer a business partnership where he and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) run Chancellor-Winters. Jeremy’s arrival could serve to lessen the heat on Tucker.
