The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is right. As the head of Jabot, he can make decisions.
But earlier this year he was thrilled to welcome his brother back into the fold. Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) agreement to become the co-Chief Executive Officer gave Jack support for his vision.
While Billy initially bucked Ashley’s intention of pushing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) out of the company, he now sees her point of view. Couple that with Ashley’s decision to start a new venture with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and a change Jack did not foresee may be coming in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Is Almost Family
Diane has been doing a good job at Jabot by all accounts. But would she have been appointed Jabot’s Chief Talent Officer if not for the engagement ring on her finger?
Jack made a good point to Billy when telling him that he scored the co-CEO position without an interview or facing any competition. Billy reminded his brother that he was blood, which is more than a legal agreement.
Diane is set to become Jack’s wife. That formal connection seems directed to counter negative Abbott family comments about Diane’s status.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Offers A Compromise Resolution
Jack may not get a vote of confidence from Jabot’s Board of Directors if Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) persists in her drive to remove him from power. But Tucker’s influence appears to be affecting her, meaning Ashley might not seek to assume Jabot’s top spot.
Billy’s sudden return to Jabot felt a bit weird when it happened. Hardcore viewers suspected that the move was laying the groundwork for subsequent plot action down the daytime road.
So, one way Ashley could protect her family company, stop Jack, neutralize Jabot, and continue to follow Tucker’s advice is if she backs Billy to be Jabot’s sole CEO.
