The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Has Gone From Summer Newman To Lola Rosales To Summer Newman

Viewers will recall that over the last few years, Kyle has gone from Summer Newman (Hunter King) to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) back to Summer and maybe he’s trying to go back to Lola again! That was certainly the impression that Summer got after seeing them together in Society!

The two had started buying a house together, actually having one built, which Summer’s father, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was handling. Summer and Kyle got secretly, then not so secretly engaged, and went on a trip together to secretly elope!

Everything was set – and then Summer discovered Kyle and Lola had been texting each other and she went back home, where she started surveillance of Kyle. She finally decides she’s had enough of Kyle’s waffling ways and dumps him for good. In between Summer leaving and “disappearing” for a day or two and dumping him, Kyle also had called another young lady while standing in Society!

The implication is they spent the night together! It would seem that Summer and Lola are both right to steer clear of Kyle the player! His father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was a bit of a player himself in his younger years, and he can see the same patterns in his son!

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Talks To Kyle Abbott About His Patterns, Decisions, And Choices

Chances are since Summer just dumped Kyle for good, Jack will know about it. Both Summer and Kyle work at Jabot, so Jack won’t be able to help but notice it. He won’t see the two of them together working because Summer may either take time off or totally avoid Kyle as much as is possible! Jack was concerned, as was Nick and Summer’s mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that the couple was rushing into things.

Jack has been concerned also that Kyle could hurt Summer again. Jack and Phyllis were married twice, and so Jack thinks of Summer as a daughter. The big concern for all the parents was moreover Summer being hurt by Kyle again even if Kyle didn’t set out to hurt her – he has before and she never got over it! Kyle will likely be distracted and act like he’s got a chip on his shoulder and Jack will feel it’s the time to talk about some serious matters. He will probably start by asking what is wrong as if he didn’t already know.

No boy who thinks he’s a grown man wants to hear this, but Jack will address it anyway. Kyle. Is. Not. Ready. To. Settle. Down! Jack will tell him to quit trying to pretend he is ready to spend the rest of his life with any woman, and especially not pretend to the woman herself!

He will go over Kyle’s history with women – back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth! Kyle has obviously proven he is not marriage material, at least not yet; maybe when he’s older – much older! He needs to steer clear of relationships for a while and focus on becoming more of a MAN and less of a BOY! Kyle probably won’t like it, but it has to be said!

It's about time Jack gave Kyle some tough love! I love it when the show does realistic things. If this wasn't a soap Jack would have given Kyle a wake up call before now. I am looking forward to seeing Jack step up and give his son a reality check.
