A Crisis Unfolds For The Abbotts. As Jack’s Kidnapping Is Revealed

The Y&R preview video for the week of March 2-6 highlights a developing crisis for the Abbott family, and it looks to be an extremely dangerous situation.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is shown breaking the news,  telling Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about Jack’s kidnapping.

In the promo, Billy declares that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is demanding he return Chancellor by the end of the day, or they might never see Jack again.

Nevertheless, we must also entertain the possibility that Jack could be part of the scheme and faking his kidnapping, since Victor concocted a similar plot!

After all, Victor indicates that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is involved in her orchestrated abduction to connect with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Could Jack Be Doing The Same Thing As Victor, Only With Himself Being Kidnapped?

Lily and the twins are not in real danger, but Cane is working hard to return Newman Enterprises to Victor. What if Jack has devised a similar scheme with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) because he is angry about Billy taking Chancellor from her?

Jack has been relishing Victor’s misfortunes, but he is not happy that Billy took Chancellor with Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) help. It is certainly believable that Jack would trick Billy to help Nikki regain her CEO position.

This would mean collaborating with Victor as well, but spoilers for 2026 have already indicated that Jack and Victor will have to join forces for a good reason.

The Desire For Nikki To Reclaim Chancellor Is The Only Thing Victor And Jack Agree On

The desire for Nikki to reclaim Chancellor is the one thing Victor and Jack currently agree on. If Billy gives in and hands over Chancellor in return for Jack’s safe return, he might eventually discover it was a trick. Can you picture Billy’s rage if Jack deceives him into transferring Chancellor back to Nikki?

Diane would not be happy either, as she still carries some old scars from the last time Jack went to great lengths for Nikki. Jack had a relapse with pills to pressure Nikki into rehab, and Diane has never truly moved past that.
