Y&R spoilers reveal that Diane used Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) as a way to lure Jack to Los Angeles. After Jack got over the initial shock, Diane shared why she faked her death and why she resurfaced now. Diane claims that she just wants a relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). However, Phyllis is convinced that Diane’s ultimate goal is to get Jack back.

Diane has already made progress with getting Allie on her side. Even though Allie is cautious, she seemed to defend Diane to Jack and Phyllis. Bergman teased to Soap Opera Digest that Diane and Allie could get closer.
With Kyle agreeing to meet Diane by the end of this week, will he buy the resurrected woman’s story? Diane will probably make it sound like she made the ultimate sacrifice for Kyle. When talking to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Kyle admitted that he was curious about the mother he didn’t get to grow up with.

Kyle told Traci what he remembers of Diane. Kyle explained that Diane was a great mother. Kyle has many fond memories of Diane, but that’s pretty common with kids who have lost a parent.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that no child, even as adults, wants to remember the worst about their deceased parents. Sometimes they will filter out all the negative and only allow themselves to remember the positive. Plus, there is the whole “don’t speak ill of the dead” rule.
So, Diane could use both Kyle and Diane to worm her way back into Jack’s life. Diane will likely be careful to play her cards right and only show her best side. Eventually, Kyle and Allie could convince Jack to see the good in Diane. It’s possible that Jack might have a change of heart about his former flame.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Iced Out?
Even if Diane is being honest about being redeemed, Phyllis won’t believe it. Phyllis and Diane’s war will continue and likely intensify. At one point, Diane could set things up so it appears that Phyllis is intentionally sabotaging her. If Diane gets her way and is convincing enough, Jack could turn his back on Phyllis.
