Imagine Jack’s face if he learned that Diane is married to Jeremy. He would feel like a fool for trusting her. Of course, Diane would spin it in her favor, claiming Jeremy forced her to marry him for the sake of the con.

Phyllis would feel vindicated. She would rub that fact in everyone’s faces. She was right about Diane all along. If this rumor is true, that would give legs to the rumor that Jeremy and Diane are working together to con Jack out of money.
