The Young And The Restless: Katy Perry The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 23, tease that viewers will see an encore episode of Y&R from June 2008 that will feature pop superstar Katy Perry in a guest-starring role. In the episode, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Adam Newman (Chris Engen) and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) that the sales for Restless Style will continue on a downward spiral. Adam will wonder if they should stop advertising in the magazine.

Meanwhile, Victor will tell Sabrina Costelana Newman (Raya Maddine) that he thinks Adam has realized his mistake and that he’s going to give his son another chance. Victor will say that he’s going to hand over Beauty of Nature to Adam. But Sabrina will worry that Victor will be making the move just to spite Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Victor will disagree.

Adam will happily tell Sabrina that he’ll be in charge of the beauty line, and Sabrina will wish him luck. Adam will talk about changing the name of the line, and he’ll wonder if they can all work on the line together. Victor will think that’s a great idea and that it will be a family affair.

Later, Adam will notice that Sabrina seems pensive, and she’ll say that she’s been going through a lot of emotions lately. Adam will say that that he’s heard about Victor’s dark side, and he’ll openly wonder how someone who could be so understanding with him could be so unloving to his other children. Sabrina will think that it has to do with Victor’s upbringing, and Adam will say that Victor was kind to his mother. Adam will say that Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) brought out the best in Victor and that Sabrina does, too.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Pushes For Katy Perry To Grace The Cover Of Restless Style

Next on Y&R, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will argue about what model to use for their next issue of Restless Style. Nick will think that Jack has a problem with his choice of the model because Jack didn’t think up the idea himself. Nick will think that using Katy Perry would be great for the magazine.

But Jack will say that they want to keep the style in Restless Style and that they need an objective point of view. They’ll ask Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), who will think that Katy should tone down her look for the cover, but Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will say that Katy should maintain her own look.

Phyllis will tell Jack that he’ll just have to suck it up this time. As Jack and Nick continue to bicker over the cover, Katy will ask to see some of Amber Moore’s (Adrienne Frantz) designs, Soon, the photoshoot will occur, and Nick and Phyllis will be happy with the outcome, while Jack will think that the use of a younger model will bother the advertisers. Jack will get a call from an advertiser wanting to pull their ad, and Jack will say that he was right all along. Nick will refuse to make a change.

Elsewhere, Amber will tell Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Jana Hawkes (Emily O’Brien) that she hasn’t heard from Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), and Amber will ask Kevin to let her know if he hears anything from Daniel. Amber will also reveal that she has been working on a gothic dress for Jana, but Jana will say that it’s not really her taste and will apologize to Amber.

Y&R Spoilers – Jill Abbott Pushes Gloria Abbott’s Buttons

Next on Y&R, at the boutique, Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) will accuse Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) distributor of stealing. Lauren will apologize for Gloria’s words. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will arrive, and when she realizes that Gloria is working at the boutique, she’ll call Jeffrey Bardwell (Ted Shackelford) to come over there. When Lauren sees Jeffrey and Jill show up, Lauren will suggest that Gloria take a break, but Gloria will refuse.

Jill will request a basic black dress, but Gloria will remark that she also needs a pointed cap to match. Jill will have a good time sending Gloria around fetching things for her, but Gloria will pretend to trip and spill coffee on Jill’s blouse. Later, Jeffrey will angrily ask Gloria how she could sleep with Alistair Wallingford (Jerry Douglas). Gloria will quip that she has needs and she’ll blast Jeffrey for being with Jill.

Next on Y&R, Gloria will get back to work, but she’ll have a hard time in her attempt to make sales. Lauren will call Kevin, and he and Jana will drop by to help Gloria. Kevin will be proud of Gloria for putting in a hard day’s work.

Later, Jill will relay to Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) that Gloria spilled coffee all over her blouse at Fenmore’s. Katherine will think that perhaps Jill encouraged the whole thing. Jeffrey will stop by to apologize to Jill with a silk scarf as a present. Jill will tie Jeffrey’s hands behind a chair with the scarf and kiss him.
