Y&R spoilers reveal that Burgi spoke to Soap Opera Digest about being approached to come to the CBS soap opera. He thinks that after all these years and being in so many soaps that it’s great he’s still a wanted man. He was told there was no commitment, which indicates that Ashland might come and go.

He also explained that the hours were great and he already had a few previous interactions with Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and worked with Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) on General Hospital.

Burgi teased that the last script he read included Kyle confronting Ashland. Now, this is very interesting because right now, Kyle is pretty scared. Plus, we already saw that Ashland knows something is up when he walked in on Tara lashing out at Kyle.

In the near future, Kyle will actually be the one to confront Ashland. It seems that the brutal business mogul might cross the line.

Burgi confirmed that the soap opera is going to have Ashland “stir the pot in more ways than one.” We know he’s a brutal and ruthless businessman. We learned that he has a history with the Abbott family, which makes Kyle and Tara’s affair and paternity secret even more scandalous. Of course, we just saw Ashland decide to give Cyaxares to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). However, we have a feeling that the war is far from over.
