When Jack hired Theo, it was to keep him in Genoa City so he could get to know his newly found nephew and so he could be handy to Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) for visitations as well. With Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) resignation, Jack will need to be hands-on at the Jabot office and that Kyle and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will now be joint Chief Operating Officers under Jack, who will be Chief Executive Officer. Theo will work under Kyle in the social media department.

They agree Summer Newman (Hunter King) needs a promotion, so she will be promoted to a higher position and Theo will take her place in the social media department. However, The Young and The Restless spoilers say that Theo will not stay in “his place” in the Jabot hierarchy for long!

The Young and The Restless Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Will Plot To Unseat Kyle Abbott From His Position – Or Will He?

The Young and The Restless viewers know that Kyle is extremely paranoid when it comes to Theo; he doesn’t trust him and feels he is a threat both to Jabot and to his marriage, because of Theo and Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) having a friendship. Kyle will think that Theo is trying to undercut him and take over his position regardless of whether he actually is or not! This will cause a lot of rivalry and conflict between the two, and possibly a lot of resentment in Kyle towards his father!

Theo’s forte may be in being an influencer, marketing, and making Jabot’s product lines look like the in things to buy, but Kyle will be convinced that Theo is a threat to his own position! Kyle may become downright fearful because now Billy isn’t there anymore to back him up and they had problems working together too but at least Billy backed him up where the threat of Theo Vanderway was concerned!

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Starts A Battle For His Place In Jabot

Kyle will start a battle – likely with Theo – for his place in Jabot. Kyle will feel threatened by Theo, accusing him of undercutting him to Jack, but the reality likely may be that Kyle will undercut Theo instead of the other way around! This will cause a lot of family dysfunction as well as business dysfunction, and Kyle may continue to try to put Summer between himself and Theo, and Lola as well, outside of Jabot, and attempt to force them to choose sides!

This could ruin his relationships with both Summer and his wife Lola! The backstory between Kyle and Theo and exactly where the competition and conflict are coming from has not yet been revealed on The Young and The Restless, but it certainly didn’t stay in the past in New York!

      Don’t care for Jack anymore. stupid to take a long lost relative that is nothing but trouble over his own son. Hope Jack loses everything he’s worked for.

      I certainly don’t think Kyle should have anything to worry about with his position at Jabot. I know these writers aren’t very good but they would have to be incredibly stupid to write Theo as challenging Kyle in the corporate world. Kyle has been brought up in that world both working for Jack and Victor. He has been well educated and probably has an MBA. Theo has done well for himself but what he has been doing is a far cry from Kyle’s level. Don’t insult fans intelligence by trying to get us to believe that storyline.

      I don’t blame a decent guy like Jack wanting to bring Dina’s grandson into the family, especially if he has no parents but stop calling him an Abbot.

      Well get ready from Kyle big drop Jack has put him there and he should have taken it slow with Theo instead of throwing him in Kyle face. Jack only did it to upstage Ashley such I thought he had resolved that issue

      Jack should have taken thing a little bit slower he invited the big trouble that’s coming his way. Since Kyle got his life together he has been an asset to jabot standing in when jack wants to do other things. Jack has openly chose Theo over kyle and Theo should have been in another part of Jabot Jack was trying to up stage Ashley again I though he went to Paris to bury this crap between him and Ashley. Doesn’t seem so that’s the only reason he gave Theo that job why he gets to choose

      Jack should have waited a little bit before throwing him into the company’s biz. Don’t trust Theo as far as I can throw. He should have went to Paris for awhile to learn the biz then come back.

      I agree with them all, what is wrong with a Jack when he knows Kyle doesn’t trust Theo. Theo will only cause more trouble.

      I see your point. I wish the writers wouldn’t do the feuding, neanderthal male thing at every turn. It is obvious the writers have taken a normally considerate Jack and done this to create the new young male resentment storyline. I just wish they would have given fans who have been watching for a little longer time for a more believable story between these men to build.

      Kyle should be mature enough to handle this situation with Theo if he is ready to be the perminent CEO of any company. He should be able to handle much older and more experienced rivals such as Victoria. If he can’t control Theo at Jabot he definitely can’t compete with what Victoria might do as head of Newman.

      Don’t blame Kyle at all. He is not an Abbot. Kyle can’t catch a break. Theo always lurking in the shadows. Kyle knows him better than anyone.
