The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Kyle Believes Love Life & Business Are Solid – Summer And Victor Disagree

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) feels good. The repaired relationship with his parents has him and the Jabot humming in business, and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) has the potential to become the next great love of his life.

Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) is the most important person in Kyle’s life. His son always brings a smile to his face and that of his adoptive mother. Harrison’s bond with Claire also enabled her relationship with his father to be warmly embraced.

Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) sees her cousin as a distraction. She feels certain or at least wants to believe that Kyle’s feelings for Claire are fleeting.

Kyle Abbott’s Redux Plays Out In Genoa City

Kyle and Summer were off and on for years. Their early ones included typical teenage romance that eventually led to serious adult decisions, including marriage.

Devoted viewers know that the first union wasn’t legitimate, with Summer forcing Kyle into it. However, their second nuptial reflected mutually shared feelings that projected into a longtime marriage.

Prolific author John Updike penned a series of books based on Harry Rabbit Angstrom, who lived in Brewer, Pennsylvania. A town that is comparable to Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Updike’s second book in the series, Rabbit Redux, has Harry navigating life after a marriage ends along with his young son, Nelson. Yes, parallels between well-regarded literature and iconic soap opera storylines can be made. This one has because the Rabbit series reads like a classic daytime drama.

Summer Newman Is Biding Her Time

It took Claire’s emergence in Harrison’s life to stir Summer to action. Lanier’s character never wanted to divorce Kyle, but he insisted, and their second set of rings was gone.

Summer is with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and isn’t leading him on. Neither person has pledged undying love to the other. This pairing feels like a double stand-in, with at least Summer and possibly Chance written toward another character.

Kyle is clearly into Claire, but Summer is hung up on Mealor’s character. Summer’s history with Kyle and their son makes her a threat that Claire recognizes.

Victor Newman Creating Doom

Kyle is curious about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) predictions of the Abbott family’s doom. He believes Victor is working to create that outcome based on the Moustache’s certainty of it happening.

The audience knows Victor has tasked Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) with obtaining information about Jabot’s business plans. He’s also directed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to go after Abbott Media.

It feels more likely than not that Victor’s prediction of Abbott family strife will happen. What’s odd is that Victor is also open to Summer reuniting with Kyle, even considering that her grandfather wants Claire to drop him. Yet, the mind of GC’s leading man remains a mystery to everyone except himself.
